El reflejo de eyección. . 🤔 #reflejodeeyección #lactanciamaterna #lactancia #producciondeleche #amamantar #breastfeeding #succiondeleche #lechematerna #lcdll #lacomunidaddelaleche #delaleche #delalechereloaded

Sorry, baby! 😅 Letdowns (Milk Ejection Reflex) is the body’s natural response that releases milk from the milk ducts when a baby nurses or when milk is expressed. Some mums feel a tingling, warmth, or fullness sensation, while others don’t notice it at all. Letdowns can be fast and forceful or slow and gentle- both are completely normal and don’t affect milk supply. They are triggered by the hormone oxytocin, which is released when baby sucks, when you hear a baby cry (even if it’s not yours!), or even when you simply think about breastfeeding. If you have a strong or forceful letdown, you might notice: 🥛 Baby gulping, coughing, or pulling off the breast 🥛Milk spraying everywhere- your clothes, the couch, the floorboards… even your coffee! ☕😅 Where have you found milk spray before? Comment below 👇 What can help? ✔ Lean back while feeding to use gravity and slow the flow ✔ Let the first letdown spray into a cloth or cup before latching baby ✔ Take breaks to burp baby #BreastfeedingLife #MilkEverywhere #LetdownSurvival

#lactancia #lactanciagemelar #lactanciamaterna

Feeding a baby with laryngomalacia can feel overwhelming, especially when breathing sounds noisy or uncoordinated. Positioning is often one of the simplest and most effective ways to help! Babies tend to feed more comfortably when they are more upright rather than flat. In this video, a gentle chin lift creates slight neck extension, which can make it easier for baby to coordinate suck, swallow, and breathe. Using gravity can also help. Positions like laid back, upright, or an elevated cross cradle give babies more control and support more stable breathing during feeds. With laryngomalacia, the airway is more prone to collapsing inward. Small positioning adjustments can help reduce that collapse and make feeding feel safer and more manageable for both baby and parent. This is something our team supports families with every day! What questions do you have about feeding with laryngomalacia?

Breast milk plays a crucial role in enhancing the immune system of infants. Rich Source of Antibodies: Breast milk, particularly colostrum (the first milk produced after birth), is packed with antibodies that help infants fight infections. These antibodies provide immediate protection against pathogens, significantly reducing the risk of illnesses during the early months of life. Immune Cell Transfer: Breast milk contains various immune cells, including B and T lymphocytes, macrophages, and natural killer cells. These cells actively participate in developing the infant's immune system and provide direct immune support against infections. Gut Microbiota Development: Breast milk promotes healthy gut microbiota by providing beneficial bacteria and prebiotics. A well-balanced gut microbiome is essential for proper immune function, as it helps train the immune system to distinguish between harmful pathogens and harmless substances. Long-Term Immune Benefits: The antibodies in breast milk adapt over time to combat specific germs that the mother and baby encounter. This dynamic feature ensures that the infant's immune system is continuously supported even as they transition to solid foods. Reduction of Inflammation: Components like lactoferrin and interleukin in breast milk help modulate inflammatory responses. This balance is crucial for preventing excessive inflammation, which can harm the infant's developing immune system. These points underscore the vital role of breast milk in not only providing nutrition but also in establishing a robust immune foundation for infants. #breastmilk #breastfeeding #breastfeedingmom #liquidgold #breastfedbaby #nursingmama #breastfeedingjourney #breastfeedingmama #milkbooster #pumpingmom #lactation #newmom #motherhood #momboss #breastisbest #breastpump #postpartum #babywearing #momlife #breastfeedinginpublic

I only pumped almost 3oz of milk after stopping pumping and breastfeeding and deciding to strictly breastfeed I’m here to tell you as someone who has breastfed both my babies for the total of 3+ years as long as your baby is growing and doing well you are doing fine! Us mothers get so caught up on the fact of having to pump all this milk because we see these other moms pump so much and trust me I use to be one of those moms that would fill up both pumps after a session so I’m here to tell you don’t compare your milk supply or your breastfeeding journey to another moms because everyone’s different and every moms different. #sahm #breastfeedingjourney #milkpouringasmr #babyboy #breastfedbaby #pumpingmom #ebfbaby
