When panic creeps in, your brain needs a pattern break. Counting backwards in 7s forces your mind to focus again. When you have zero motivation, stop thinking about the whole task. Just give yourself 2 minutes. Starting changes everything. When anger builds up, slow your breathing. Long exhales tell your body you’re safe. When you feel lost, it’s usually because everything feels out of control. So shrink it. Focus on just 3 things you can control. When you can’t focus, lower the pressure. 10 minutes. One task. That’s it. And when you feel alone… don’t isolate yourself further. Text one person. It matters more than you think. None of this is complicated. But in hard moments, we forget the simplest things. You don’t need to have your life figured out. You just need tools for the moments that feel overwhelming.
