Why I mix balance with mobility work (especially when it comes to hips): Balance challenges your feet to properly interact with the ground to stabilize you. When the feet can properly interact with the ground, hip mobility can be fully expressed. For the hips to internally rotate, the foot needs to be able to pronate (foot arch drops). For the hips to externally rotate, the foot needs to be able to supinate (foot arch is higher). Balance + mobility helps address the full picture for long term results #hipmobility #mobility #athlete #triathlon #personaltrainer

Mobility is very important to an athlete’s health and performance. Lack of mobility in one area of the body can often lead to stiffness in surrounding areas, which can cause the players to compensate in a negative way in their movements and potentially to injuries. If you’re skipping mobility work, you’re leaving strength on the table. Period. Tight hips? Stiff shoulders? Ankles that feel like cement blocks? That’s your body waving a giant red flag, telling you to stop ignoring the basics. Mobility isn’t just about stretching—it’s about moving better, lifting heavier, and feeling damn good in your body. So, are you actually working on it, or just hoping it magically improves? Drop a MOBILITY in the comments if you’re ready to make it a priority—I’ve got something for you. ā¬‡ļø every @broads.app workout includes mobility to make your joints feel buttery smooth.

Tight hips don’t just mess with your workouts, they mess with how your whole body moves. When the hips stop moving well, the low back, knees, and even ankles end up picking up the slack. That’s usually where aches, stiffness, and limited range start showing up. Mobility work isn’t about stretching for the sake of it — it’s about teaching your body to move well through positions it’s supposed to own. Controlled movement builds real flexibility, better strength positions, and keeps your body durable long term. A few minutes of focused hip mobility can change how you squat, walk, train, and recover. Move better so your body doesn’t have to compensate. Save this and put mobility back in your routine.

If your goal is to stay injured, just follow the advice everyone else repeats. When you step back and actually think about it, most recommendations only mask symptoms instead of fixing what caused the problem. Weak glutes? Force them to contract with a little band. Weak feet? Wear cushioned shoes and buy custom insoles. Tight muscles? Stretch endlessly and do mobility work. It’s an endless loop that keeps you dependent on the mainstream playbook. Look within and upgrade your talent.

Functional core movements and mobility exercises are so important for anyone but ESPECIALLY our tall girls looking to improve posture and prevent low back painšŸ¤— A solid core isn’t just about strength—it’s about stability and control, helping to support your spine and reduce strain. Coming from gals who have had low back issues their whole lives. We learned that combining this with mobility work to keep your body moving freely, allows you to not only stand taller but feel more confident and injury-resistant !!! #tallgirls #mobilitytraining #coreworkout #coreworkout #mobilitytraining #healthyhabits

My son couldn’t dunk without pain. He pointed to his lower back, in the area of the QL (Quadratus Lumborum) muscle. It was locked up tight, making his entire back and ribcage feel stiff and restricted. These 3 stretches got him back to dunking pain-free. šŸ€ āš”ļøWhy this matters: Tight backs don’t just hurt, they limit everything you do. Sitting, lifting, playing with your kids, even breathing fully. Mobility work keeps your tissues flexible and your joints moving the way they should. Try these if you: - Sit at a desk all day - Feel stiff after workouts - Wake up with back tension - Just want to move better Save this for the next time your back needs a reset. Let me know which drill hits the spot for you! šŸ’Ŗ

Strength and mobility work best together Stretching helps reduce tension and restore movement, but strength is what teaches your body to control those ranges and tolerate load. When muscles and tendons are both lengthened and strengthened, joints become more resilient and running feels smoother instead of painful #mobility #strengthtraining #runninginjury #runready #runners
