FA#YDC2026 Open Call | @lauhei: “For me, a French embroidery course is actually quite a luxury in terms of tuition. Without winning YDC, I probably wouldn’t have made that choice so easily.”
Lau Hei, winner of the YDC 2025 Best Art Direction Award and Excellence Award, recently shared her journey and reflections at the YDC 2026 Sharing Talk @yak_chance.encounters, speaking openly about her growth and transformation after participating in YDC.
She revealed that the sponsorships awarded after winning YDC gave her the opportunity to travel overseas and immerse herself in the international fashion ecosystem. Her experiences included attending Berlin Fashion Week, sourcing and researching fabrics at Première Vision in Paris, and studying French embroidery under the Chanel Studio—professional training opportunities that would otherwise have been difficult to afford.
Lau Hei also shared that she will be heading to London in March to study Latex Making at Central Saint Martins (CSM). As latex plays a significant role in her personal collection and her previous explorations were largely self-taught, she hopes that more structured training will help deepen her technical skills and allow her work to evolve further—both conceptually and in craftsmanship.
Lau Hei：「其實對於我來說，法式珠繡的課程本身是一個相當奢侈的學費，如果沒有贏 YDC，我未必會輕易作出這樣的選擇。」
YDC 2025 最佳美術指導獎及優異獎得主劉希雅（Lau Hei），早前於 YDC 2026 Sharing Talk@YAK POP‑UP 與大眾分享她在參加 YDC 之後的成長與轉變。
Lau Hei 透露，得獎後獲得的贊助讓她有機會走到海外，深入接觸國際時裝體系——包括前往 Berlin Fashion Week、到巴黎 Première Vision 採購與研究布料，並在 Chanel Studio 旗下修讀法式珠繡課程。這些以往未必能輕易負擔的專業學習，成為她創作路上極為珍貴的累積。
她亦分享，接下來將於三月前往倫敦，於 Central Saint Martins（CSM） 修讀 Latex Making 課程。由於其個人系列中大量運用 Latex 元素，而過往一直以自學方式探索，她希望透過更系統化的訓練，進一步深化技術，讓作品在概念與工藝層面同步進化。

中國設計師Liwen Liang @liwen_liang_ 將景德鎮的陶瓷美學融入時尚藝術創作，帶來了蘊含東方瓷韻的設計作品🏺✨
土生土長於景德鎮的Liwen，從家鄉陶瓷工作室汲取設計靈感，泥濘的環境、破碎的瓷片、窯爐的火光🔥、潮濕的空氣與觸感，這些日常元素皆被融入作品。同時Liwen亦巧妙運用了回收材料與工業廢料、破碎瓷片及印花原料，經重組重構賦予其新生，形成專屬設計語言♻️。
為了完美呈現陶瓷「不完美中的完整」的美學，Liwen不僅採用Mending修補技術，更結合鋸釘、繩索等元素，刻意營造出不規則的裂紋與斷裂感。而他所研發的可穿戴陶瓷布料，經特殊工藝輕薄化後與織物複合，成品服裝僅重2-3公斤，既保留陶瓷獨特的質感，又確保舒適度與實穿性，盡顯深厚的工藝功力與創新思維。
Liwen以傳統陶瓷美學為根基，透過修補、重生的手法，傳遞文化傳承與環境尊重的故事。這不僅是時裝，更是承載千年瓷韻的當代藝術🌟！

香港設計師Nigi Wang @ginigiwang 重新詮釋哥德與文藝復興美學，整個系列從短裙、腰封、手套到靴子，每一件都互相呼應，實現古典優雅與當代態度的完美融合👢🖤。系列中的短裙最讓他心動，它完美捕捉了中性力量與古典優雅的交織⚔️。
談到創作初衷，Nigi傳達了對女性多元形象的深刻解讀💪，他希望透過作品打破大眾對女性形象的刻板框架，讓服裝成為傳遞內在堅韌與自信的載體。騎士的優雅、堅韌與力量，在他的設計中不再是性別的專屬，而是每個人皆可擁有的態度。
