ANI LOVE THIS OUTFIT SO MUCH, I cannot even tell you!!! But that's the thing—these days when my outfits look particularly modest, it's not because I was trying to be holier than thou. It's because I am wearing something I genuinely love (while staying warm since it's autumn now).
My outfits while I lived in legalism were never because I actually loved them. They were what they were because I was following rules so I wasn't punished or shamed. The more I wore them, the more I became like those around me: judgmental of others dressed less than me and proclaiming that my way was actually biblical, unlike other ways.
So if you see me dressed from head to toe these days, just know it's because I'm probably cold, but also probably because I just love my outfit. It's amazing how much joy you can receive from the little things when you're walking in the freedom Christ died for instead of micromanaging holiness.
