EMSaint Moses the Black (also called Moses the Ethiopian) was once a feared robber and violent man in Egypt. After fleeing his life of crime, he encountered the monks of the desert,
whose humility and love pierced his hardened heart. Moses repented deeply, embraced the ascetic life, and became a monk known for great humility, patience, and spiritual strength.
Though often tempted by his past passions, he overcame them through prayer, fasting, and obedience. God granted him discernment, and he later became a priest and spiritual father
to many. When raiders attacked the monastery, Saint Moses refused to flee, saying that he who once lived by the sword should now accept death without resistance. He was martyred around the age of 75, leaving behind a powerful witness that no sin is stronger than repentance and the grace of Christ.

Devant le public, Fifty a expliqué sa position sans détour :
« Il y a deux choses dont on te dit toujours de t’éloigner. La religion et la politique. Peu importe ce que tu penses, il y aura toujours quelqu’un qui sera passionnément en désaccord avec toi. »
Avant d’ajouter, sous les rires de la salle : « Moi je m’en éloigne. C’est comme ça que Kanye a merdé. »
Une pique directe adressée à Kanye West, dont les prises de position publiques ont largement dépassé le cadre musical ces dernières années. Entre ses Sunday Services, sa candidature à l’élection présidentielle américaine et ses déclarations politiques de plus en plus extrêmes, Ye a multiplié les polémiques, au point de diviser profondément l’opinion.
50 Cent ne s’est pas arrêté là. Toujours sur le ton de la provocation, il a enchaîné :

Une référence claire aux récentes sorties de Nicki Minaj, qui a publiquement soutenu Donald Trump sur des sujets religieux et attaqué certains journalistes, déclenchant là aussi une vague de critiques.
Pour 50 Cent, le message est simple : même lorsqu’on est une superstar mondiale, s’aventurer sur ces terrains ultra-sensibles expose inévitablement à des retours violents. Lui-même habitué aux controverses, il estime pourtant que certaines lignes ne doivent pas être franchies.
Quand un artiste connu pour son franc-parler explique que « quelqu’un est allé trop loin », beaucoup y voient un avertissement clair : parfois, rester concentré sur la musique est le choix le plus stratégique.
