SSOne thing about Donovon was that he loved to support Black owned businesses. He himself was a serial entrepreneur with three different businesses when he was murdered by the VPBD. #DonovonLynch was Black excellence ✊🏾

#DonovonLynch was murdered on March 26, 2021 and there have still been NO answers as to what happened to him.
There were TWO officers involved, but the police have not released their names. We know that the officer shot Donovon in fairly close proximity and that no witnesses have been interviewed by the police.
The VB community lost a great man. He was a role model, a son, a brother, a light, an entrepreneur, a friend, and so much more. #DonovonLynch was no criminal or no suspect. He was just a man walking back to his vehicle after an evening out.
The fact that the officers did not have on their cameras is also in complete violation of the policy. These officers were selected to wear the cameras. They were engaging in an environment that could call for arrests, pursuit, or even force and still did NOT activate their body cameras which is again a complete violation of their VBPD policy.
We demand ACCOUNTABILITY AND FULL transparency when it comes to the case of #DonovonLynch. FIRE! ARREST! CONVICT! We are tired of the Virginia Police Department and their continuous use of force. We need policies that protect Black lives instead of end them.
