No, I didn’t start medication, but I was very close when I experienced that flare (or relapse — who knows) a few years ago. I was barely able to walk or stand on my left leg. It lasted almost 4 weeks, and it was the scariest thing to experience just 3 years after my diagnosis. I didn’t take painkillers, and I’m not sure if they would have made a difference. What I did was increased my Vitamin D supplement and rested. I had faith that this was just temporary and that I needed to take better care of myself. I did gentle exercises at home when I could, I meditated, I took Epsom salt baths, and I went to bed every night praying that the next day I would be able to walk again. That experience taught me that we are stronger than we think and that everything — all the pain and suffering — is just temporary… And that our bodies are incredible and capable of healing. 🧡 #mshope #msawareness #ms #multiplesclerosissupport #multiplesclerosis

This technology did not happen by accident. The founder of this company watched his mother struggle with MS and refused to accept there was nothing he could do. He spent 14 years researching the brain and nervous system connection and used his background in coding to develop a technology that supports mobility, stability and inflammation without drugs, chemicals or anything entering the body. He built this for her. 🥹 The Liberty patch works through a patterned ridge surface like a QR code that activates the skin receptors and sends signals directly to the brain to re-synchronize the nervous system. No pills. No injections. No side effects. Nothing entering your body. Ever. Just a patch that gives your nervous system the input it needs to support your body every single day. This is what it was created for. If you or someone you love is living with MS please reach out. I want to help. 💜 👇 Comment PATCH If you’d like to watch the video where he talks about this, say VIDEO #multiplesclerosis #MSawareness #MSwarrior #nervoussystemhealing #naturalhealing

I’m just over it….. I mentally gave up trying to fix what I don’t even know is going on in my body. I mean I mourned the life I thought I was going to have. Thought it was gone. Was scared of what could come. Then a new Dr. comes, doesn’t really listen to what I’m saying, and says it doesn’t look like MS at all. But is also unwilling to help me solve or find what my issues are. I mean he is a neurologist. Shouldn’t he worry and try to fix the brain if it is hurting? Why would I keep doing a diet? As the Dr. said “when you have something big happen, the we will know if it’s MS or not”. Do I just treat myself like I don’t have it? Do what the Dr. says and just wait till I end up in the hospital? Or do I try to fix my body? I am obviously going to try and heal my body, but it took a lot out of me mentally, emotionally, and physically to get back to wanting to heal. Cheers to a broken medical system 🥂 #multiplesclerosis #ms #mssymptoms #autoimmunedisease #healing How many new Drs have you been referred to?

🚩 The early signs of Multiple Sclerosis in women can be incredibly subtle, often being mistaken for stress or "mom brain." From the "invisible itch" to sudden double vision, your nervous system might be trying to tell you something. 🧠✨ If you’ve been feeling "clumsy," dropping things, or experiencing that weird "electric shock" sensation when you move your neck, don’t ignore it. Early detection is everything for MS awareness and managing chronic illness. Don't ignore these early signs of MS in women. Watch until the end for the symptom that most people mistake for a simple heat wave. ☀️👇 #mswarrior #multiplesclerosis #msawareness #mssymptoms #earlysignsofms

not exactly how I pictured my 20s… . . At 16, my doctors told me there was a strong chance I would be diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and by 17 that became my reality. Since then, it’s been endless hospitalizations, testing, physical therapy, treatments, and medications. I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS, an autoimmune disease that most people can’t see, but I feel every day. At 22, I’m still learning how to adapt to a body that doesn’t always cooperate. . . . #invisibleillness #chronicillnesswarrior #autoimmunedisease #healthjourney #ms

Many people remember Selma Blair as the sharp, captivating beauty from Legally Blonde — and the mysterious heroine from Hellboy. But behind that image is a much deeper, more complex story. In the late ’90s and early 2000s, she was everywhere. In Cruel Intentions, she played the naive Cecile — and her iconic scene with Sarah Michelle Gellar became part of pop culture history. In The Sweetest Thing, she was the awkward yet lovable friend of Cameron Diaz. In 2018, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At one point, doctors spoke about the most difficult possible outcomes. But Selma chose a bold path — a stem cell transplant combined with intensive therapy. And even then, she didn’t lose her sense of humor. She once joked she’d happily take a role where she could just lie down and do nothing. Since 2021, she’s been in stable remission. And now, at 53, she’s back on the red carpet — not just as an actress, but as a symbol of resilience. Her documentary, Introducing, Selma Blair, tells an honest and deeply personal story of her journey — and it resonated with audiences around the world. “I am disabled. Sometimes I fall. Sometimes I drop things. My memory is foggy, and I move like I’m being directed by a broken GPS. I laugh at myself now… and I’m still learning how to live like this — but I will.” What do you think — is it important to speak openly about diagnoses like this, or is it better to go through it privately? ☝🏻
