IT#NancyGrace is questioning why #CelesteRivas’s family was largely absent from the public push for justice during the entire seven months between when her body was found and when #D4vd was finally arrested. Says The internet was loud. Advocates were loud. But her own family was quiet the whole time.
The family’s attorney says they are very private people who were overwhelmed and devastated throughout the process. And all they want is justice for their daughter. But for many that explanation is not enough.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 14 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose dismembered remains were found in the trunk of his Tesla last year. He has pleaded not guilty.
