2. Introduction
“I’m a [Grad Year] [Position], and I’ve been really interested in your program because [specific reason].”
Example:

“…because of your style of play.”
“…because of your recent season.”
Never be generic.
3. Purpose of the Call
“I wanted to introduce myself and learn what you look for in players at my position.”
Then listen.
Don’t interrupt.
Take mental notes.
4. Show Your Value
“I’ve been working a lot on [specific area], and my recent film reflects that.
I’d love your feedback on where I stand.”
This shows:
