TIHere are my tips for creating an arch.
1. Slow and steady. Pull the notched tool on an angle slowly, in a straight line. Keep your motion smooth and don't rush.
2. When you are ready to turn the tool to make an arch, try to keep the centre notch in the middle (see arrow). In the video, you see the centre notch moving and sliding over the texture. This will give you an uneven arch.
3. Practice. Practice. Practice. Don't be hard on yourself. It takes time to learn new skills.
4. Making mistakes is how we learn. I originally made this video on how to create an arch, and it ended up being a video on what not to do. So I still make mistakes. We are human!
