Double Choc Crunch Protein Balls inspired by @elllgibson (but oat free!) ✨ 10/10 would recommend 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Recipe (makes 12 protein balls): 250g pitted dates soaked in hot water for 5-10 mins (reserve 2 tbsp) 60g chocolate protein powder- I use @macr0mike deluxe chocolate protein (amb-eliyaeats to save $$$) 2 tbsp cocoa powder (around 20g) 30g runy peanut butter 1/2 tbsp date water (add more as you go if too dry) Salt Chocolate Coating 80g sugar free milk chocolate- I use @lindt_au 1-tsp coconut oil 30 g protein crispies (optional but recommended!!) - Add soaked dates, protein powder, occoa powder, peanut butter, salt and 1/2 tbsp date water into a food processor or blender and blend until a thick sticky mixture forms. - Roll into 12 balls and freeze for 20 mins - Melt your choc with 1 tsp coconut oil, add the protein crispies and mix well. - Dip each protein ball into the chocolate mixture, sprinkle with some sea salt and freeze for 1 hours or until fully set. Here’s the recipe to the first one: Recipe 👇 Dry ingredients: - 3 scoops vanilla protein powder (90g) - ½ cup Betty Crocker Oreo Truffle Mix (heat treated if you use the cake mix)(≈60g) - ½ cup oat flour (50g) - Pinch of salt Wet - 4 tbs butter, softened (56g) - 1 tbs maple syrup (15g) - 3 tbs half & half - 1-3 tbs milk (add slowly stirring in between) Instructions Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add butter, maple syrup and half & half; mix until crumbly. Add milk 1 tbsp at a time until dough is thick, soft, and pressable. You might not need 3 tbs depending on the brands you use. Press firmly into a lined loaf pan. Place in fridge or freezer while you make the frosting. Oreo Truffle Protein Frosting: 2 tbsp coconut cream (30g) ½ cup cottage cheese (120g) 2 oz reduced-fat cream cheese (56g) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (30g) Instructions: Blend cottage cheese alone until completely smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend until thick and creamy. Spread over chilled base. Freeze 30 min before slicing. Save this recipe and make them ASAP — your kitchen will smell unreal ✨🍪 Ingredients • 1½ cups all-purpose flour • 1½ cups rolled oats • 1 tsp cinnamon • ½ tsp baking soda • ½ tsp baking powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 cup salted butter (browned) • ¾ cup brown sugar • ½ cup granulated sugar • ½ cup mashed ripe banana (about 1–2 bananas) • 2½ tbsp yogurt • 1½ tsp vanilla extract • 1½ cups chocolate chips • Flaky sea salt (optional) 1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden and nutty (5–8 minutes). Let cool slightly. 2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, oats, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. 3. Chocolate lovers unite !!🫡 Toblerone is definitely one of my favourite chocolates, so I thought why not make it into a high protein overnight oat recipe 🥰 I love making recipes like this because it is a pretty darn healthy recipe despite looking so decadent which is all the more reason to try it! ✨recipe✨ 50g oats* 10g cocoa powder* 30g chocolate vegan protein powder* (for thickness) 5g chia seeds/flax seeds 50g of Greek yoghurt 170 ml water (or milk) 1 tsp honey For the top: 5g almond butter* 15-20g dark chocolate (I used sugar free) 5g of soy crisps (can use honeycomb, but I couldn’t find any😅) Ingredients with a * are from @prozis (Code FITFOODIEJULES will give you a big discount + gifts!) Microwave the oats with the chia seeds, honey, and water for 2.30. Mix in the yoghurt, protein, and cocoa. Add the dollop of almond butter to the center of the oats. melt the chocolate, then mix in the soy crisps and drizzle over the top of the oats to form a shell.
