If you’ve followed me for a while you will know I absolutely adore Ocado. The ease of delivery and the range of products on offer is unbeatable, so I had to use it to get everything I needed for Easter. I wanted to host this year but I’m not sure the kitchen will be quite ready so my mum’s hosting instead. I still wanted to help out by setting the table and making a quick pud!
The hot cross bun bread and butter pudding is so easy and perfect to make with kids, my recipe below:
Butter and layer 4 hot cross buns in a tin (or so as we did with little hands and shred and squish in)
Layer dollops of marmalade
Combine 3 eggs, 150ml of milk, 150ml of double cream and 75g of caster sugar
Pour over the hot cross buns and bake in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes

I found so many cute things for Easter on Ocado and I just love I can get anything I need for the family, from M&S all range, seasonal fruits and vegetables and even homeware and celebrations decoration! All delivered straight to my kitchen 🤍
INGREDIENTS
Serves: 10
500g (1lb 2oz/4 cups) white bread flour
10g ¼oz/2 tsp) salt
50g (2oz/¼ cup) caster (superfine) sugar
2 eggs, plus 1 extra egg for the egg wash
10g (¼oz/2 tsp) honey
7g (2 tsp) dried yeast (or 15g/1 oz fresh yeast)
200ml (7fl oz/scant 1 cup) whole milk
100g (3½oz) salted butter, diced
1. Put the flour, salt, sugar, eggs, honey, yeast, and finally the milk in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the dough hook. Mix on low speed for 5 minutes to blend everything together. Increase the speed to medium and leave it to knead for another 5 minutes, then add the butter, a couple of cubes at a time, still mixing on medium speed.
2. Increase the speed a little to knead the dough until it becomes more elastic. The ball of dough will start to form a ball around the hook.

For the hot cross bun koftas
400g M&S Select Farms Lamb Mince 20% Fat
1 red onion, grated
1 tsp Ocado ground cinnamon
2 tsp Ocado ground cumin
1 tsp Ocado Organic ground coriander
2 tsp Ras El Hanout Seasoning
2 garlic cloves, peeled and grated
2 M&S Mini Luxury Fruited Hot Cross Buns
2 tbsp Ocado Greek Style Natural Yoghurt
1 lemon, zested
1 tbsp Cook with M&S Rose Harissa Paste
For the baby potato and asparagus salad
750g Ocado British Salad Potatoes, halved
250g M&S Asparagus Tips
150g M&S Jumbo Golden Raisins
1 tbsp Cook with M&S Rose Harissa Paste
150-200ml Biona Organic Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 tsp Ocado Runny Honey
50ml Ocado White Wine Vinegar�
For the green chutney
1 1/2 tsp Cook with M&S Cumin Seeds
20g Ocado Coriander, leaves picked
20g Ocado Mint, leaves picked
2-3 Ocado Green Finger Chillies (adjust to your taste)
1 lime, zested and juiced
75ml Biona Organic Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil
Pinch of caster sugar
To serve
Fresh Ocado Coriander
Fresh Ocado Mint
Sea Salt Flakes
