BRI was standing outside the work shed when I thought I saw a large dog out of the corner of my eye. It only took a split second for reality to hit and for me to notice it wasn’t dog, it was a massive male brown bear huffing and jaw popping as he approached across the yard. This video was taken during mating season and he was pursuing a female bear who was running down the driveway tryin to get away from him. Was easily one of the best unexpected bear encounters I’ve had. If you want to see more bears, give me a follow! MEAfter 9 months of showering with the garden hose, it was time to build an Outdoor shower at the back of the tiny house with some left over materials 😌
Budget $300 USD; 189$ went for the stainless steel shower set, the rest is a lot of sweat, a few bits of plumbing, and a sink/faucet.

COSolar Powered Generator that powers our ENTIRE CAMPER!
We are really impressed with this Portable Power Station from Grecell. We have had it a month and it works great! We took it to Florida with us and used it multiple times. It’s perfect for power outages or off grid camping. It can be charged through solar panels or electric. It’s amazing how something so small can produce so much power. We will be using this a lot, especially for off grid camping with our boys in the spring and fall (when we don’t need the a/c because the air conditioning does obviously run the battery down quickly. Just running the fridge, microwave as needed and lights, this will last us a few days without needing charged. Happy homesteading!
