Satu dasawarsa Open Government Indonesia (OGI) telah berkontribusi nyata mengukuhkan kualitas demokrasi Indonesia melalui hadirnya ruang kewargaan yang inklusif; berperan dalam membentuk well informed voters dan terbentuknya politik gagasan dalam pemilu Indonesia; OGI dan inisiatifnya meluaskan ruang kontrol dan peran publik dalam mengawal dan mengawasi pemilu; memperluas daya jangkau pemantauan pemilu dan mempermudah akses Penegakan hukum; membantu resiliensi masyarakat sipil Indonesia; serta OGI telah menjadi alat diplomasi unggul dalam pergaulan kepemiluan dan demokrasi global.
Oleh karena itu, ruang kewargaan yang inklusif jadi kontributor keterlibatan masyarakat secara bermakna (meaningful participatory engagement) yang pada akhirnya akan menjaga resiliensi demokrasi.
Keterbukaan data menjadi fasilitator dan katalisator bagi terciptanya ruang kewargaan yang inklusif dan penguatan kontrol publik atas tata kelola pemerintahan di tengah melemahnya parlemen sebagai kekuatan penyeimbang (check and balances).
Rencana Aksi Nasional Open Government Indonesia (RAN OGI) harus didukung semua pihak dengan sinergitas dan pembagian peran yang jelas dan saling terhubung satu sama lain. Rasa kepemilikikan K/L harus kuat untuk menopang implementasi RAN OGI.
Sosialisasi dan diseminasi masih jadi pekerjaan rumah yang harus terus diperkuat.
Sikap kritis kelompok/organisasi masyarakat sipil jangan dianggap sebagai ancaman sehingga harus dieliminir partisipasinya dalam mendorong implementasi RAN OGI. OMS memang harus kritis, konstruktif, dan kolaboratif.
Keterangan: 2016 di Paris, Perludem mendapat Silver Award (Second Prize) dari OGP Summit atas kokreasi bersama KPU melalui inisiatif API (Application Programming Interface) Pemilu.
