Matthew 5:12 "Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in Heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Jesus loves you until the end, the trials you are experiencing are strengthening you, and proving the gentleness of your faith. Hang in there a little longer, For your reward shall be great in Heaven.✝️ The Chosen portrays the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ as the living revelation of God’s love and redemption, presenting the heart of the Gospel through His teachings, miracles, and the transformation of those who follow Him. Just as the prophets foretold the coming of a Messiah who would bring light to the nations and restore the lost, the ministry of Jesus demonstrates that the Kingdom of God advances through compassion, humility, and unwavering love for humanity. Sent by the Father to seek and save the lost, Christ’s journey—from calling ordinary fishermen to forming a community of devoted disciples—reveals the central Christian truth that salvation begins with encountering Him and responding in faith. Christians see the ministry of Christ as the unfolding fulfillment of the covenant promises spoken throughout the Old Testament: where sin and brokenness separated humanity from God, Jesus—the promised Messiah—restores hope by revealing the Father’s mercy and inviting people into new life. His teachings, miracles, and personal encounters with the broken become powerful demonstrations of divine grace, showing that God’s kingdom is open to all who believe. Through this powerful portrayal, The Chosen vividly displays the themes of calling, transformation, and redemption, reminding believers that following Christ is not merely about witnessing His works but about experiencing a renewed life through faith in Him. #faith #bible #christ #TheChosen #christianseries

Most people don’t realize the Apocrypha was never accepted as Scripture by Jesus, the apostles, or the early church. • The Hebrew Bible, which Jesus and the disciples quoted, did not contain the Apocrypha. • Jewish historians like Josephus (1st century) confirmed that the Jewish canon was already closed centuries before Christ — and it matched today’s Protestant Old Testament. • Early Christian leaders like Melito of Sardis (c. 170 AD) and Athanasius (4th century) listed the Old Testament canon — and left out the Apocrypha. • Jerome, who translated the Latin Vulgate, openly stated that the Apocryphal books were not inspired and should not be used to build doctrine. It wasn’t until 1546, at the Council of Trent — after the Protestant Reformation — that the Roman Catholic Church officially declared the Apocrypha to be Scripture. Why? Because Protestant reformers were exposing that doctrines like purgatory, prayers for the dead, and indulgences had no support from the true canon. Rather than abandon false teachings, Rome tampered with the canon by elevating books that conveniently supported their traditions. The real historical facts are simple: • The Apocrypha contains valuable historical information, but it was never considered equal to inspired Scripture by Jesus, the apostles, or the faithful early Church. • Catholics did not “give us the Bible” — they edited it after being challenged. • True believers recognize the canon God preserved — the one Christ and the apostles used — not one politically altered to protect manmade doctrine. Truth doesn’t need revisions. Falsehoods always do..#Christian #Catholic #Faith #Jesus #Bible

The Age of Aisha (RA) & the Double Standards of Christian Polemics The age of Aisha bint Abi Bakr is constantly weaponized by Christian polemicists—not out of concern for morality, but out of selective outrage and hypocrisy. Yes, classical narrations mention her young age at marriage to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. But Islam never hid this, never revised it, and never felt shame—because morality is judged by context, not modern Western emotions. For 1,400 years: No Sahabi objected No Tabi‘i condemned it No classical scholar considered it immoral Why? Because: Puberty and maturity defined adulthood Life expectancy was low Early marriage was normative across civilizations Now comes the hypocrisy. Christians who attack Islam ignore their own scriptures: Mary is acknowledged by Biblical historians to be 12–14 years old when she conceived Jesus Christ The Old Testament permits and records marriages at even younger ages Medieval Christian Europe practiced the same norms Islam did Yet they scream only at Islam. Why? Because they judge a 7th-century Arabian society by 21st-century Western laws, while excusing their own prophets and traditions.

The 1,700-Year-Old Prophecy That Shook History Did you know that a deathbed blessing given in the book of Genesis predicted exactly where Jesus would preach and even the personality of the Apostle Paul? History isn’t a series of accidents; it’s a perfectly orchestrated plan that spans thousands of years. Here is how the blessings of Jacob (Israel) over his 12 sons perfectly aligned with the life of Christ: The Lineage of the King: Jacob prophesied that the Messiah would come from the line of Judah, and centuries later, Jesus was born from that exact lineage. The Geography of Grace: Jacob told Zebulun they would live by the seashore and Naphtali they would produce beautiful words. This was fulfilled when Jesus lived in Capernaum by the Sea of Galilee—the area of Zebulun and Naphtali—to preach the Gospel. The Light in the Darkness: Matthew 4 confirms that Jesus moving to these specific tribal lands fulfilled the prophecy that “the people living in darkness have seen a great light.” The Ravenous Wolf: Jacob described Benjamin as a “ravenous wolf” who devours prey; this described the Benjamite lineage perfectly—from the prideful King Saul to Saul of Tarsus, who hunted and killed Christians. Redemption of the Tribe: Though Saul (Paul) began as a “wolf” attacking the church, the grace of Jesus transformed him into the greatest apostle, proving that God can redeem any legacy. From the shores of Galilee to the transformation of Paul, every detail was spoken into existence centuries before it happened. When God speaks a word, history has no choice but to obey. 🔥Does it blow your mind to see how perfectly the Old Testament predictions match the life of Jesus and the Apostles? Many Christians are surprised to learn that the Catholic Bible contains 73 books, while most Protestant Bibles contain 66. The difference comes from seven Old Testament books that Catholics have always included: Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, and First and Second Maccabees, along with additional sections in Daniel and Esther. These are often called the Deuterocanonical books. For the first fifteen centuries of Christianity, these books were widely used by the Church and were included in the Greek translation of the Old Testament known as the Septuagint. This was the version of Scripture most commonly used by early Christians and frequently quoted by the apostles themselves. Church councils in the fourth century, such as Rome (382), Hippo (393), and Carthage (397), affirmed this larger canon of Scripture that included those books. During the Protestant Reformation in the 1500s, Martin Luther questioned several teachings of the Catholic Church, including purgatory and prayers for the dead. Some passages supporting these ideas appear in books like 2 Maccabees. Luther eventually placed these books in a separate section of his Bible labeled “Apocrypha,” and later Protestant traditions removed them entirely from most printed Bibles. The Catholic Church, however, reaffirmed the traditional canon at the Council of Trent in 1546, maintaining the same collection of 73 books that had been recognized and used in Christian worship for centuries. For Catholics, these books remain part of the inspired Word of God handed down through the life of the Church. Follow @saintly_vibes for more!

In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit did not live inside people. He visited them. He came upon Samson for strength. Upon David for kingship. Upon the prophets to speak. But He could leave. David’s most desperate prayer after his sin was not forgive me. It was — do not take your Holy Spirit from me. Because he had watched what happened when He left. The Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul. And an evil spirit tormented him instead. Then Jesus said something that should have devastated His disciples. It is better for you that I go away. Because if I don’t go the Helper cannot come. The permanent indwelling required the completed work of the cross. And then Pentecost happened. The same Spirit that visited Samson temporarily now lives inside every believer permanently. Not visiting. Not departing. Living. David begged God not to take Him. You cannot lose Him. The cross made sure of it. 🙏 Free study guide — Hidden In Plain Sight — 14 lessons. Link in my bio. No cost. ☦️ Assumption 4, 5, 6 ⬇️ Assumption 4: God is incosistent. God judged the Canaanites, then later judged Israel the exact same way (Assyrians, Babylonians). There isn't favortism, God is consistently just across all people. Assumption 5: These events had no larger purpose. This assumes the events were isolated acts of violence instead of part of a bigger redemptive plan. In the biblical narrative, God si preserving a people. Through whom the MEssiah would come to bring salvation to the entire world. These weren't random wars, they were tied to salvation history. Assumption 6: The language means total, literal annihilation of every individual This assumes modern, literal reading of ancient war language. But the Old Testament uses hyperbolic language: “We wiped them all out” yet those same people appear later again. Cities like Jericho were likely military fortresses, not civilian populations. Many non-combatants lived outside those walls. try @getprayerlock.app to put God first A better question would be: Do you believe God has the right to judge at all? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. - The Bible #God #christianity #bible

In the Old Testament, God warned the people of Israel that disobedience to His covenant commands would bring severe curses as part of the blessings-and-curses framework of the Mosaic covenant. In Deuteronomy 28, Moses outlines these consequences plainly: But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you. Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading-trough. Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your cattle, and the young of your flock. The LORD will send upon you curses, confusion, and frustration, in all that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly, on account of the evil of your doings, because you have forsaken me (Deuteronomy 28:15-20). These curses included disease, drought, defeat by enemies, barrenness, economic ruin, and eventual exile, escalating in severity to emphasize God’s justice against idolatry and covenant-breaking. Similar warnings appear in Leviticus 26, where God promises progressive judgments for persistent rebellion: But if you will not hearken to me, and will not do all these commandments… I will appoint over you sudden terror, consumption, and fever that waste the eyes and cause life to pine away… I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies… I will bring a sword upon you… and if in spite of this you will not hearken to me, then I will chastise you again sevenfold for your sins (Leviticus 26:14, 16-18, 25, abbreviated). These passages show the curses as redemptive discipline to turn Israel back to God, not permanent rejection, with hope of restoration through repentance and renewed obedience to the covenant.
