Using the Block with @highhands_volleyball Especially out of system, using the block effectively is a tough skill that takes years to improve at! Ideally you never want to hit a ball that would land out of bounds if the block didn’t touch it, but every once in a while, you gotta crush those finger tips! 🙌 Team: @louisvillevb Attackers: @avacutterback , @chloe_meester_ , @chloe18chicoine #volleyball

The HARDEST thing about BLOCKING a lot of times is adjusting to the opponents TEMPO! When you train blocking, you are learning to move against your team’s offense. On game day? It’s a different story…. In this clip, @nayelis_cabello blocks against a fast GO, and a slower out of system ball. Notice how both moves look the same as she leaves the ground! Your block move needs to be adaptable to different tempos so you always finish aggressively! Nay’s first step (right step) timing helps her with this. She can take a slower 1st step on a high set, or a quicker one vs a fast set. Either way she is finishing FAST! Blockers: @nayelis_cabello / @hannnah.sherman Team: @louisvillevb #volleyball

🎬 Did you know? Diary of a Wimpy Kid stands out because it refuses to make Greg Heffley secretly noble or misunderstood in some grand way. He’s selfish, insecure, status-obsessed, and constantly trying to game the middle-school system without actually understanding how human beings work. That honesty is what makes him funny instead of inspirational. The movie gets childhood right by treating small humiliations like full-scale disasters. A school dance, a cheese touch, a friendship strain—everything feels enormous because when you’re that age, your social world is your whole universe. The comedy lands because it respects how intense that pettiness can feel in real time.

LaMelo Ball stands out in the NBA for his rare combination of flair and fundamentals, bringing a streetball style into a professional system without losing effectiveness. His court vision allows him to see passing angles most players wouldn’t even attempt, while his confidence gives him the freedom to take big shots in crucial moments. What separates LaMelo from many young stars is his ability to control the pace of the game, making teammates better while still being a primary scoring threat. As he continues to mature, LaMelo isn’t just building highlights — he’s building a reputation as one of the most influential guards of his generation.

After weeks or months in microgravity, astronauts return to Earth with weakened muscles, reduced balance, and a cardiovascular system that must readapt to gravity. That’s why crews are often helped out of the capsule and begin rehab immediately, retraining their bodies to walk and function normally again.

Plantar fasciitis? Heel pain? Morning pain when you step out of bed? READ THIS 👇 That foot pain isn’t “just tight muscles.” It’s a broken signal between your foot, fascia, and nervous system. 🔥 Kinesiology tape does MORE than support: • Instantly unloads the plantar fascia • Improves blood & lymph flow to speed healing • Re-educates the foot arch and heel alignment • Reduces pain without restricting movement This taping pattern lifts the skin, decompresses irritated tissue, and tells your brain: “You’re safe to move again.” 👣 Athletes use it. 👣 Runners swear by it. 👣 People with chronic heel pain finally feel relief. ⚠️ If your feet hurt every morning, every workout, or every shift at work — your body is begging for support + neuromuscular reset. Tape the foot. Reset the signal. Walk pain-free again. #PlantarFasciitisRelief #FootPainFix #KinesiologyTape #HeelPain #MoveWithoutPain KinezioMethod

Foot reflexology isn’t just relaxation.. It’s a direct conversation with your nervous system✨ The feet contain reflex zones connected to: • the brain • the spine • digestion • lymphatic flow • hormonal balance When these points are stimulated with intention, the body shifts out of fight-or-flight and into rest, repair, and regulation. That’s why people feel: ✨ calmer ✨ lighter ✨ more grounded ✨ deeply reset This is nervous-system regulation through touch — slow, precise, and deeply supportive. Save this for the days your body feels overwhelmed 🤍 And if someone came to mind while watching, send it to them. Beautiful work by Alina 🤍 Book your session in BIO or DM us about available spots 💌

If you’ve ever seen this, it’s frightening. They cry. No sound comes out. They go red. It feels like time stops. This is a severe acute pain cry pattern in a newborn. The nervous system surges so intensely that the breath is held at the end of expiration before the next inhale. Baby isn’t forgetting to breathe. It’s an autonomic overload response. Once the stimulus passes, the respiratory rhythm resumes.

🦶✨ This Simple Basin Trick Flushes Toxins Out of Your Entire Body Your feet have over 7,000 nerve endings and some of the largest pores on your body. They’re a direct highway to your lymphatic system - your body’s garbage truck. If you feel heavy, foggy, or bloated, your lymphatic system needs this “biological broom.” 🧹🌿 How it works: -Epsom Salt: Floods your body with magnesium to pull out heavy metals and kill inflammation. -Apple Cider Vinegar: Balances skin pH and breaks down toxins stuck deep in your tissues. -Rosemary & Ginger: Stimulate circulation and move stagnant lymph to sweep waste out of your system. -Heat: Opens your pores and gets everything moving. What you need: -A basin of hot water (as warm as you can handle) -1 cup Epsom salt -½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) -Fresh rosemary sprigs -Sliced fresh ginger The Routine: -Mix everything in the basin. -Soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes. -The Secret Step: After drying, dry brush your feet using upward strokes toward your heart. This signals your lymph to keep moving! The Results: ✨ Less brain fog ✨ Deeper, better sleep ✨ Clearer, glowing skin ✨ Reduced swelling and puffiness 💡 Extra Tip: Drink a large glass of lemon water right after your soak to help your kidneys flush out the toxins you just released! 💬 Are you team “Hot Bath” or “Foot Soak”? For teachers—especially this time of year—Christmas break isn’t about doing more. It’s about recovering your nervous system so you don’t crawl back into school already burned out. Here’s what I recommend: 1. Rest without guilt Sleep in. Take naps. Sit on the couch. Rest is productive when your body has been in survival mode all semester. 2. Regulate your nervous system Simple, low-effort things: Walks outside (even 10 minutes) Stretching or gentle movement Deep breathing before bed This is huge for stress, gut health, and hormones (especially for teachers). 3. Create space from school Don’t open email “just to check” Don’t plan lessons unless it genuinely brings you peace Your brain needs to remember who you are outside of teaching. 4. Eat to support energy (not restriction) Regular meals Protein at breakfast Hydration This helps reduce that “exhausted but wired” feeling when break ends. 5. Do something that fills you Not errands. Not catching up. Read for fun Move your body in a way you enjoy 6. Gentle reset—not a full overhaul Pick one small habit to carry into January: Earlier bedtime 10-minute walk Better breakfast Tiny consistency > big resolutions. 7. Remember this You don’t need to earn rest. You already gave enough this year. How many of these are you doing?!
