The world sees the baby. But no one sees what the mother goes through.
This one’s for the breastfeeding mums - especially my wife.
She went through hell. Twice.
With our first, our son was born with a tongue tie.
- Every feed felt like knives.
- Nipples cracked, chapped, bleeding.
- We tried it all — nipple shields, lanolin cream, silver cups, cabbage leaves.
- Hot compress. Cold compress. Pumping in pain.
- Engorged. Leaking through clothes.
- Still fed. Still smiled.
- Still held him close - even when it hurt like hell.
With our second, it was’t any better.
- Cluster feeding. No sleep.
- Milk coming in like fire.
- Mastitis scare.
- The isolation.
- The silent tears.
- The expectation to just… keep going. And she did.
💪 Not once did she complain.
💪 Not once did she give up.
So today - on the last day of World Breastfeeding Week 2025, I’m saluting every mother who’s been through this silent struggle.
💥You’re not “just” feeding a baby. You’re giving your body, your sleep, your peace, your everything.💥
