🌟 39 weeks Birth Prep Yoga Exercises 🌟 These movements are really effective to Prepare your body for birth & can be practised daily during third trimester to encourage babies optimal positioning and allow more space in the pelvis for baby The more mobile your pelvis is, the easier babies descent will be & the smoother your delivery 🙏🏼👶🏻🐣. Here’s the exercises below to get that pelvis moving and baby into an optimal position for. Birth 🫶🏽🥰 these can be done at any time during pregnancy 💃🏻. Have pain from endometriosis and aren’t willing to settle for it? 👇🏻 Pelvic floor relaxation and re-training exercises are key parts of an exercise program for someone who is managing endo. Symptoms of pain with penetration, urinary urgency, pelvic, tailbone or back pain, and constipation can all be caused by pelvic floor tightness, which many women with endo unfortunately experience. Retraining your pelvic floor with corrective exercises can do so much for all of these symptoms, including these three exercises: 👉🏻 Pelvic floor release with ball - not keen on internal release? I find this exercise so helpful for addressing tension in the pelvic floor that makes it really hard to feel any relaxation 👉🏻 Adductor rotations - 2 things that are almost always restricted in those with pelvic floor tightness are adductor tightness and poor thoracic rotation. Improving this can significantly impact pelvic floor tightness. 👉🏻 Modified happy baby + adductor glides - a boring exercise to look at, but extremely important. Here we focus on combining breathing, pelvic floor relaxation and adductor tension. One of my favourites for pelvic floor tightness and regaining access to the muscle. By retraining the system first, we can then slowly add more difficult exercises using graded exposure to different loads in order to build more tolerance to exercise. By following a corrective protocol like this you can change the game and start reducing your pain! Ready to start implementing these three exercises into your routine? Here’s the exercises I’m focusing on right now in my 35th week 😅🙋🏻‍♀️: 1️⃣ Forwards Lean deep Squats x10 2️⃣ Goddess pose x 30 secs 3️⃣ Adductor stretch with rotations x8 each side 4️⃣ Preggo Tweeerk 👀😅 x 30 secs 5️⃣ Side Lunges x 12 each side 6️⃣ 90/ 90’s x20 reps These can be done safely even during your 2nd trimester as long as your pregnancy is low risk and your doctor has cleared you to exercise 🥰.
