Last week we had our annual “2-1 Day” where we honored the 2-1 Marines and Sailors at Camp Pendleton. We weren’t able to have them in person this year, but included a slide show of the past 4 years we’ve honored them. Our Kinder and 2nd grade classes did special traditions to honor them as well. Between the worship and the words, we pray they are able to celebrate with us from where they are currently serving. May the Lord protect our men and women who protect our country!

In lieu of Super Bowl Sunday, the Stroudsburg Marines poolees decided to take advantage of a beautiful, warm, grassy field for some combat football. (By warm and grassy, we mean about a foot and a half of snow ❄️💪) Conditions weren’t ideal—but the effort was. We got after it, had a great time, and proved once again that discomfort doesn’t stop progress. Big appreciation to everyone who showed up and put in the work. We wrapped it up back at the office with pizza 🍕 and some Marine Corps knowledge. 🇺🇸 POOL FUNCTION @ UNITY PARK 🇺🇸 RSS Anderson teamed up with @greenvillemarines and @rss_spartanburg_marines for an awesome poolee event at Unity Park, where future Marines got a real taste of what the journey looks like. 💪🔥 We kicked things off with an Initial Strength Test (IST) while Drill Instructors were on deck, bringing intensity, motivation, and a firsthand look at the standards and mindset it takes to earn the title. 🫡 After the workout, we wrapped up with a Q&A session, giving everyone the chance to ask questions, learn more, and get fired up for what’s ahead. This is more than training! Volunteered for the Marines today. This is a benefit by the Crisp family at the American Legion in Newport Beach. 4 buses, and somewhere between 300-600 Marines for a Superbowl party just for them. There was food, drinks, a coffee bar, cigar bar, ice cream, mechanical bull, limo rides to The Wedge, and free massage. We handled 125 people in 8 hours. Got to meet people from Georgia, Illinois, Florida, and Texas. So happy to give back to those who serve. #Marines, #camppendleton, #superbowl
