ENGET is confusing because we use it for change — not just for things.
It’s not only about receiving objects.
It’s about entering a state.
Look at these examples:
“I’m getting tired.”
→ moving into the state of tiredness.
“She got sick.”
→ changed from healthy to sick.
“I got confused.”
→ shifted into a mental state of confusion.
“I finally got it.”
→ moved from not understanding to understanding.
That’s the pattern.
GET often signals transition.
Once you see that, it stops feeling random.
