PEOh my… I’ve grown!!!
From a girl who only ever hid behind her saxophone, performing covers, spoke few words and just played sometimes for 4-6 hours straight…. To this woman who locks you in with loving, crafted words, original compositions and sometimes humor 😔 - taking you on a journey… wow! Thank you for being here y’all.

I’m actually just taking time to rewatch and reflect on the finale of Ije Live with Perpie… at the Bella Concert Hall.
Performing this composition live with Elevate Kids Choir and having the support of three powerhouse vocalists and the Calgary Jazz Orchestra was huge. What a Finale!!!

As we open up this new project, I’m reminded of how sacred each moment is.
JazzTales kicks off on November 29th, 2025. Similar to the way Ije Live at the Central Library in 2021 started - honest, experiential, experimental, true and real. This new concert series has driven me much deeper and I am thankful for the space to grow before your very eyes, ears and hearts.
