ALThere is an entire federal department in place to help YOU farm, homestead, grow food, and move to rural areas.
I was in shock at how much free help I received from them last week. Maps, brochures, and even pamphlets of cheap educational classes (I’ve since enrolled in a Cornell small farms course thanks to them) were given to me.
We spent 3 hours together! We chatted, they answered every question I had, they taught me so much, AND they walked my land.
They also showed me the exact grant that makes sense for me. I probably would’ve never found it otherwise!
Listen, I am not a fan of big government either. I used to work for the government - trust me - I get it. But in this case, there is free money allocated in our country’s budget that HAS to be given away every year. Why not call?!?
