RA+Phobos Strike Team+
1/9 - Infiltrator Sergeant/Infiltrator Veteran/Infiltrator Warrior
I’ve finally started my foray into Kill Team and it’s no great surprise my first Kill Team will be Raptors, I am a bit late, but it’s quite convenient that Kill Team Dead Silence has just been released. This guy will be primarily used as an Infiltrator Sergeant, but it gives me the other options if I run an alternate sergeant. The base model is the Leviathan Phobos Combi-Lieutenant, I’ve used a regular Infiltrator head, as I feel the elite strike teams of the Raptors wouldn’t leave their domes unprotected. I’ve also used the right arm from the Incursor box and the left data gauntlet arm from the intercessors box, which slipped nicely under a Phobos pauldron; overall mirroring the pose of the Infiltrator Sergeant that comes in the Strike Team box. I swapped out the combi-flamer which is slung from the strap, for a bolt carbine, so his load-out is wysiwyg, albeit with a silencer from the eliminators kit, for that covert operative feel. The cloak is from the sword brethren kit with some miliput sculpted in over the shoulder to make a proper contact point, the back pack is from the eliminator kit but with the infiltrators antenna attached.
The Raptors markings and the squad markings are in black rather than white, again for that covert operative feel, additionally I left the identifier for the sergeant fairly understated as well, just using the black stripe on the helmet for that. I chose squad number 22 for the Strike Team as a little nod to the SAS who have a regiment numbered 22.
The finishing touches on the base, the little scenic board and on the scenery are all from @siegescenics - there are boxberry forest moss pads, verdant meadow moss pads and frostpine glade moss tufts.
