The Schrödinger equation is the foundational concept in quantum mechanics that describes the behavior of microscopic particles, such as electrons, without treating them as solid little spheres with exact, predictable paths. Instead, it models these tiny entities as spreading waves of probability, allowing physicists to calculate the likelihood of finding a particle in a particular place at a particular time . This revolutionary idea replaced the absolute certainty of classical physics with a “fuzzy” quantum reality, accurately predicting the specific, fixed energy states that an atom or molecule can possess. Ultimately, by mapping out these probability clouds and energy levels, this framework forms the absolute bedrock for our entire modern understanding of chemistry, materials science, and emerging quantum technologies. . #physicslord #physicsmemes #physicslove #iit #jee #iisc#iiser #neet #neetphysics #jeephysics #physicsstudent

Science finally has the answer to the energy crisis! 🚀 Why settle for solar or wind when you can harness the pure, chaotic power of the Buttered Cat Paradox? 🐈🍞 It’s simple physics: if a cat always lands on its feet and toast always lands butter-side down, strapping them together creates a perpetual motion machine that defies the laws of the universe. Watch as this fuzzy generator spins its way into a limitless future. Who knew the secret to infinite power was just a snack and a pet? ⚡️✨ #InfiniteEnergy #ScienceHumor #ButteredCatParadox #PhysicsMemes #LifeHacks

BRO DID THE MATH… THEN CHOSE VIOLENCE 🧮🏃‍♂️💀 This wasn’t chaos. This was calculated. This man didn’t prank — he engineered. Somewhere between evil genius and responsible older brother energy. Even Newton would nod in approval. Fun fact: this is what happens when intrusive thoughts meet good planning skills. It looks dumb… but it works flawlessly. Respect the prep. Fear the execution. Not possible 😌😎😂..See, the thing is… 50S + 30S becoming 70S looks wrong only if you think it’s normal addition. But not in case of ribosomes! Even though 50 + 30 = 80 mathematically, S (Svedberg units) are based on sedimentation rate, not simple addition. When the two ribosomal subunits combine, their shape and mass change how they settle during centrifugation. That ‘S’ isn’t size or mass. It tells you how fast something sediments when you spin it really fast. Now here’s the catch...this settling speed depends on a lot of things. Not just weight, but also shape, density, and how much resistance it faces in the liquid. 👉 So: 50S (large subunit) 30S (small subunit) Together form 70S ribosome (found in prokaryotes like bacteria) When the 30S and 50S are separate, they behave differently. But when they come together, they don’t just add up...they form a more compact, efficient structure, which changes how they move in the centrifuge. This non-additive behavior is due to how molecules behave in solution—not just their size but also shape and density. So yeah… it’s not wrong math. It’s just that biology is measuring something completely different.

The iconic 1927 Solvay Conference photograph, often hailed as “the most intelligent picture ever taken,” captures a historic gathering of 29 leading physicists at the Fifth Solvay International Conference on Electrons and Photons in Brussels, Belgium. Taken by Benjamin Couprie outside the Institut International de Physique Solvay, it features towering figures of 20th-century science arranged in three rows: the back row includes rising stars like Erwin Schrödinger, Wolfgang Pauli, Werner Heisenberg, and Paul Dirac; the middle row showcases Niels Bohr, Max Born, Louis de Broglie, and others; while the front row prominently displays legends such as Albert Einstein (seated center-right), Marie Curie (the only woman and double Nobel laureate), Max Planck, Hendrik Lorentz, and Paul Langevin. . . . #physicslord #physics #physicswallah #physicsmemes #physicslove
