2-3 red onion (thinly sliced for 32 oz jar)
1 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
1 cup water
1 tbsp maple syrup sugar
1½ tsp salt
Optional: whole peppercorns, garlic clove, fresh parsley
1. Add peppercorns, garlic, maple syrup, parsley, and salt right into a jar.
2. Add pre-heated and cooled vinegar and water.
3. Add the onions and pour more liquid over onions to fully cover.
4. Seal, shake gently, and leave on countertop for a week.
5. Ready in ~30 minutes; better after a few hours. Keeps a long time in the fridge.

SOQuick Pickled Red Onions 🌟
A super easy and delicious pickled red onion recipe that brightens up any dish!
Ingredients (for one jar):
• 2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
• 1 tsp black peppercorns
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Thinly slice the red onions (I use a mandoline slicer for perfect thin rings).
2. Place the sliced onions into a clean glass jar.
3. Add chopped cilantro, vinegar, black peppercorns, salt, and olive oil.
4. Mix everything well until the onions are evenly coated.
5. Seal the jar and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 day.
The result is bright, tangy, slightly sweet, and incredibly flavorful pickled red onions!

• Salads
• Grilled meats
• Avocado toast
