HUPANCAKE SKEWERS 🍓🥞🍓
Need a really quick dessert table feature or #eidparty or any party food idea? This one’s for you 💁🏻♀️
✨MAKES 30 ✨
Ingredients:
🍓2 bags mini pancakes (Ma Raeburns)
🍓strawberry punnet
🍓bananas (optional)
🍓blueberry punnet
🍓halal marshmallows @heavenlydelightssweets
🍓chocolate sauce
🍓bamboo sticks
Method:
1. Prepare the fruit
Wash the strawberries and blueberries. Cut the strawberries in half and slice the bananas if using. Alternatively slice to desired size.
2. Warm the pancakes
Heat the mini pancakes in a pan or microwave until warm and soft.
3. Build the skewers
Thread pancakes, fruit, and marshmallows onto the bamboo sticks. Mix the colours for a nice look.
4. Arrange
Place the finished skewers on a serving plate.
5. Drizzle & serve
Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
Perfect for parties, kids, or a quick sweet treat. You can also make the pancakes yourself if you have time

Mini Pancakes 🥞
Ingredients
• 1 cup plain flour
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 egg
• ¾ cup milk
• 1 tbsp oil or melted butter
Method
1. Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
2. Add wet ingredients
Add the egg, milk, and oil/butter. Whisk until smooth.
3. Heat the pan
Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and lightly grease it.
4. Cook mini pancakes
Spoon small circles of batter into the pan. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook for 1 more minute.
5. Serve
Remove and repeat. Serve warm or let cool for skewers.
Tip: For extra fluffy pancakes, don’t overmix the batter 😊
