Ron Howard said it plainly. Trump only cares about his fame and his bank account. Nothing else. Ron Howard posted the line on Twitter on January 1, 2020, answering a user who asked why Hollywood only treated Trump with negativity. He wrote that many in the entertainment industry who had known or worked with Trump see him as "a self-serving, dishonest, morally bankrupt ego maniac" — someone who cares only about his fame and bank account and is hustling the country. The tweet went viral and has been recycled online ever since. Howard, who directed Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, and Frost/Nixon, has been a vocal Trump critic for years. In 2024, he told Variety there was "no version" of him voting for Trump again, whoever the running mate was. Supporters called Howard an out-of-touch Hollywood elitist. Trump never responded to the original tweet. He still won the 2024 election. #trump #washingtondc #usa #trending #like4like

Eric Schmidt just said it plainly: Stop thinking SaaS. Start building agentic-first companies. The next winners won’t sell AI tools. They’ll run businesses powered by autonomous agents from day one. This isn’t a feature upgrade. It’s a structural shift. Build accordingly. #AI #agents #startup #founder #venturecapital

1. German children are taught that clarity is a form of respect. 2. They’re encouraged to state needs plainly without exaggeration, emotional padding, or defensiveness. 3. This builds responsibility early. You say what you mean, and you stand behind it. 4. There’s less room for misinterpretation when expectations are spoken instead of implied. 5. In the U.S., many people learn to soften truth to avoid discomfort. 6. Over time, that creates confusion, resentment, and conversations that never quite land. 7. Most adults only realize this after years of misunderstandings, when they’re tired of being unclear and exhausted by guessing games. Clarity isn’t cold. It’s grounding.

Why You Must Learn How Things Work Jim Rohn said it plainly: “What you don’t know will hurt you.” And he wasn’t talking about theory. He was talking about life. Ignorance is expensive. It costs people their health. Their money. Their relationships. Their freedom. Learning isn’t optional — it’s survival. Because when you don’t understand how things work, you’re vulnerable. You repeat avoidable mistakes. You walk into pain you never needed to experience. Knowledge is where everything begins: • Wealth • Health • Freedom • Awareness Formal education may help you make a living. But self-education is what builds a life. And this is what real understanding looks like: Take this simple experiment. A peeled orange sinks. An unpeeled orange floats. Why? Not luck. Not magic. Physics. The peel holds tiny air pockets. Those air pockets reduce density. Density determines buoyancy. Same fruit. Different outcome. Because of what’s inside. That’s life. When you understand the principles — you float. When you don’t — you sink. Learning gives you clarity. Clarity gives you control. Control keeps you from getting hurt. Life mastery is not about knowing everything. It’s about committing to never stop learning. Read. Study. Observe. Learn from your mistakes — and especially from the mistakes of others. Because wisdom is cheaper than pain. ⸻ 🎤 Credit Inspired by the teachings of Jim Rohn Video shared for education, reflection & inspiration — fair use applied. The tough thing about management is that everyone talks about meritocracy, but very few leaders actually practice it. Jamie Dimon says it plainly “If you run a meritocracy, you better make sure you actually do it.” True management means making hard calls, rewarding real output, and refusing to be owned by internal noise. Meritocracy isn’t a slogan. It’s discipline. And leadership is the courage to enforce it every day, with everyone. Follow us (@simplyougrow) for everything related to entrepreneurs Media: Stanford

Listening to Jeffrey Sachs speak is a reminder of what serious intellectual honesty sounds like. In a world where most public figures carefully filter their words to protect power, Sachs does the opposite. He speaks plainly, directly, and with an extraordinary command of history, economics, and geopolitics. Whether people agree with him or not, it is difficult to ignore the depth of his analysis and the courage it takes to say uncomfortable truths in public forums. Calling the United States “semi-democratic” or confronting the reality of violence and inequality is not about provocation; it is about forcing an honest conversation that many institutions prefer to avoid. Sachs has spent decades advising governments, studying global development, and challenging dominant narratives when the evidence points elsewhere. That combination of expertise and intellectual independence is rare. Moments like this remind us that real scholarship is not about popularity or applause. It is about truth, clarity, and the willingness to say what others are too cautious to admit. #JeffreySachs #Politics #Geopolitics Follow @stelle.world for tech, science and everything in between. My inflammation marker — hs-CRP — came back less than 0.2. That’s essentially zero. Year after year And I want to tell you what I do because it’s genuinely embarrassing how boring it is. 1. I EAT MORE THAN YOU THINK I’m a nutritional therapist and I’ll say it plainly: under-eating is one of the fastest ways to wreck your hormones, spike your cortisol, and guarantee cravings by 3pm. What I actually do: ∙ Protein early — leftovers with an egg, no apology ∙ Protein again at lunch — same boring formula ∙ Dinner on repeat: protein + veggie + carb + sauce Not restriction. Nourishment. There’s a difference. 2. I LIFT AND I WALK. BOTH. EVERY WEEK. Not to be small. To be strong at 45 and functional at 65. Lifting because muscle is anti-inflammatory, protects your metabolism, and makes perimenopause significantly less brutal. Walking because it lowers blood sugar, reduces cortisol, improves sleep, and costs nothing. 2-3 days of lifting. Daily walks. That’s the whole movement plan. 3. I PROTECT MY SLEEP LIKE IT’S MEDICAL Because it is. Sleep is when your body repairs inflammation, regulates hunger hormones, and processes stress. You cannot out-supplement a sleep deficit. Consistent bedtime. Phone out of bed. Here’s the actual secret though: I’m not consistent because I’m motivated. I’m consistent because I have a system that works on my worst week — not just my best one. Never miss twice. That’s the whole rule. Comment EDIT and I’ll send you the link to the exact system 👇🏼 🖤 My Story 🖤 The Proof — my biological age + lab data 🖤 The Foundations 🖤 The Mindset 🖤 Fridge + Pantry Edit 🖤 The LIST — default grocery system 🖤 Meal Map — protein + veggie + carb + sauce = dinner on autopilot 🖤 Chaos Week Plan 🖤 Supplements worth your money 🖤 Perimenopause Prep 🖤 Implementation Kit — checklists + trackers so you actually execute 🖤 Worst Week Reset #inflammation #biologicalage #momwellness #boringhabits #busymomlife❤️

During one of the most unexpected auditions on America’s Got Talent, Andy Rowell performed a karaoke version of “Tequila” that left the audience and judges stunned. Dressed plainly and holding a microphone with a calm demeanor, Andy stood silently as the iconic instrumental began to play. Then, right on cue, he shouted the only word in the entire song “Tequila” with full confidence and perfect comedic timing. It was a performance that no one saw coming, and yet it instantly captured everyone’s attention. Instead of showcasing vocal range or dance moves, Andy leaned into absurdist humor and minimalism. His deadpan delivery and motionless stance created an awkward yet hilarious energy that slowly built until the crowd erupted with laughter and applause. The brilliance of the act was in its simplicity. It flipped the typical talent show formula on its head, proving that sometimes the boldest choice is to do almost nothing and commit to it completely. Though Andy’s journey on the show ended in the Judge Cuts round, his performance has lived on as a viral moment that people still talk about. It became a reminder that originality and courage can outshine even the flashiest acts. Andy didn’t need fireworks or theatrics just a backing track, a mic, and one perfectly timed word to become one of the most memorable contestants in the show’s history. A stranger already knows your daughter’s name. Two Harvard students proved it. They connected Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses to facial recognition software and walked up to strangers — greeting them by name, mentioning details about their lives — people they had never met. One of them said it plainly: “Some dude could just find some girl’s home address on the train and just follow them home.” This isn’t a future threat. It’s not a worst-case scenario. It’s already possible with glasses that look identical to a regular pair of Ray-Bans — and your daughter has no idea. She could be walking to her car. Sitting at a coffee shop. Standing at a crosswalk. And someone nearby already knows her name, her school, and where she lives. The small LED light that’s supposed to signal recording? Many wearers pay to have it disabled. Most people wouldn’t recognize smart glasses as a camera even if they saw them. Here’s what to do right now: 1. Show her what they look like. Search “Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses” together. She needs to know what she’s looking for. 2. Android users — download Nearby Glasses. Free app. Detects smart glasses nearby via Bluetooth and alerts you immediately. iOS version is coming — follow it and download it the day it drops. 3. Trust the discomfort. If something feels off, leave. She doesn’t owe anyone her presence — ever. 4. Have the conversation today. Not to frighten her. To arm her. The girls who know about this threat are the ones who can protect themselves from it. This is the conversation most parents aren’t having yet. Please share this with every mom you know. Our daughters are walking through a world that changed — and nobody told us. If you found this helpful, I share resources like this every week for moms of teen girls. Follow along. 💛 @thecommonparent — lets talk about this. #GirlReimagined #TeenSafety #SmartGlasses #ParentingTeenGirls
