The rarest kind of solar system. Out of all the different kinds of solar systems, ours appears to be the rarest! Simulations and surveys of other planets tell us that the most common solar system is one where all the planets are about the same size. So then HOW did ours get like this? The leading theory has to do with Jupiter! To learn more, follow along! #science #space #solarsystem #rare

"The solar system is a vast and intricate dance of celestial bodies, with planets, dwarf planets, and other objects moving in harmony. Each planet has its own unique orbit and rotation, creating a mesmerizing display of movement and pattern. From the swift orbit of Mercury to the majestic spin of Jupiter, every movement in the solar system is governed by the laws of physics and gravity. The planets' paths are elliptical, and their speeds vary as they journey around the Sun. Witnessing the solar system's movement is a humbling experience, reminding us of the universe's vastness and complexity. Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or just curious about the cosmos, the solar system's movement is a fascinating sight to behold. #SolarSystem #Planets #Astronomy #interstellar "

The Silent hero. When the planets formed, Jupiter tried to gather more and more mass approaching the ingredients required to become a Star. But still it couldn't, hence it is often called as a Failed Star. After the Jupiter formed it was so huge that the sun started attracting it towards itself due to huge gravity between these two. The Jupiter would ultimately destroy all the inner planets and itself. But soon Saturn came into existence, with gravity so high to pull Jupiter back to its original position saving the solar system and planets and jupiter itself. #space

Look closely at that tiny white speck at the top of the image. That isn’t a camera glitch or a grain of dust—that is our entire world, including every ocean, mountain, and city, placed next to the Sun for scale. The Sun is so massive that you could line up 109 Earths just to cross its center. If you wanted to fill the Sun’s volume, you would need about 1.3 million Earths to get the job done. While it looks like a solid ball of fire, it’s actually a churning sphere of plasma held together by its own intense gravity. Follow @astronaut_from_mars for more content like this. It’s a humbling reminder that we live on a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Despite its size, the Sun is only an average-sized star compared to the giants found deeper in our galaxy. Save this if you love learning things like this. Share this with someone who would find this fascinating. If the Sun disappeared tomorrow, which planet do you think would be the hardest to live on next? #astronomy #space #sun #science #earth
