MIHow I plan for a productive week 💻🎧
For a long time, I thought that being productive meant cramming my calendar and rushing through tasks just to check them off. But I’ve learned that planning isn’t about doing more, but doing what matters. Being intentional with my planning, helps me stay consistent and actually achieve my goals.
Here’s how I approach my weekly planning now:
→ I brain dump everything on my mind, then choose my top 3 priorities for the week, what will actually move me forward? I use my 12 Week Year planning system on Notion, and base it on those goals.
→ I break them into specific, realistic tasks and assign them to time blocks in my iCalendar.
→ I add breaks, so I can handle unplanned events or tasks
→ I plan around my energy, not just my time, and spread my most demanding tasks across the week.
→ I finish by asking: What can wait or be removed completely?
This shift has helped me stay focused, and consistent, without constantly feeling overwhelmed.
