Thanks to a reciprocal agreement between Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, international graduates of accredited dental schools are treated the same as domestic grads.
That means if you return to Canada, you just need to pass the NDEB exams (virtual OSCE) to practice as a registered dentistโno extra hoops to jump through!
I know this route is pretty standard for Australian and New Zealand locals, so this is for my Canadians!! ๐จ๐ฆ๐
If you know you want to be a dentist, skip the dreaded DAT and working hard to maintain your GPA for an extra 3-4 years doing an undergrad and apply to an Australian dental school!!!
