Fetal development is a remarkable journey that transforms a single cell into a fully formed baby. From the early heartbeat at just a few weeks, to organ formation, brain growth, and movement inside the womb — every stage is a critical step toward life. Proper maternal nutrition, prenatal care, and regular medical check-ups are essential to support healthy growth and development. #FetalDevelopment #PregnancyJourney #PrenatalCare #HealthyPregnancy #BabyGrowth #Motherhood #PregnancyHealth #MedicalAwareness #ChildDevelopment #BabyOnTheWay #HealthcareEducation #PregnancyTips #LifeInTheWomb

Transition is often described as one of the most intense phases of labour, a place where many birthing people feel like they’ve reached their edge. And yet, it’s here, in this threshold, that the body often takes over in the most remarkable way. The foetal ejection reflex is nature’s design: a powerful, involuntary surge where the body begins to push on its own. It’s not something you consciously do, it simply happens. Your body takes the lead, instinctively and rhythmically, moving your baby down with a force that’s primal and deeply intelligent. This moment can feel overwhelming, but it’s also breathtaking. It’s the culmination of labour’s intensity and the purest example of how powerful and capable your body truly is. The trembling, the pressure, the sounds, they’re all part of the dance. In this video, you’ll notice my client using gas (nitrous oxide) as a tool to steady her breath. Between contractions, she finds her rhythm, harnessing the gas to regulate her breathing, soften her edges, and stay grounded in the surge of transition. It’s not about numbing the experience, it’s about finding a way to meet it with presence and control. Labour is intensity. Labour is surrender. Labour is beauty and power all at once. When we stop fighting against it and allow the reflexes of the body to guide us, we witness the raw, extraordinary strength within. @brookgordon24

The Most Important Ultrasound of Pregnancy! 💫 The Target or Anomaly Scan, also known as the Level 2 Ultrasound, is one of the most crucial scans during pregnancy. 🩺 It is usually done around the 5th month (18–22 weeks) — when the baby’s full structure and organs have developed. During this detailed scan, the doctor carefully examines: 👶 Baby’s overall growth and anatomy 🫀 Development of heart, brain, spine, and internal organs 🦵 Limbs, facial features, and movement ⚕️ Placenta position and amniotic fluid level This scan takes time — often 30 minutes or more, as every tiny detail is observed by an expert radiologist. It helps detect any early structural or developmental concerns — ensuring you and your baby remain safe and healthy. ❤️ 📌 Never skip your Level 2 / Target Scan — it’s an investment in your baby’s health. Your child’s brain starts developing at just 3 weeks. That’s before most women even know they’re pregnant. From that moment on, everything the mother experiences — ⬇️ Her stress levels 😴 Her sleep quality 🍽️ Her nutrition 🤒 Her immune system burden — affects the development of her child’s brain for life. This is why prenatal care isn’t just about avoiding obvious risks. It’s about optimizing a mother’s entire environment: calm, supported, nourished, and rested. If you’re a partner, this is your call to show up. Be kind. Be patient. Be present. You’re not just supporting her — you’re shaping your child’s future. 📥 Comment “10” below and I’ll DM you my free guide: “10 Health Mistakes to Avoid – and What to Do Instead.” Take back control of your mind, body, and energy — one decision at a time.

Baby Kicks in Transverse Lie – What You Need to Know ✅ 1. What is Transverse Lie? Transverse lie means the baby is lying sideways in the uterus instead of the normal head-down (cephalic) position. It usually occurs in the second and early third trimester but may correct itself before delivery. ✅ 2. Baby Kicks in Transverse Lie In transverse lie, mothers often feel baby kicks on the sides of the abdomen rather than at the top or bottom. Kicks may feel stronger on one side depending on where the baby’s legs are positioned. Sometimes movements are felt low near the pelvis and high near the ribs simultaneously because the baby’s body is lying sideways. ✅ 3. How Baby Kicks Differ from Head-Down Position In head-down position: kicks are mostly felt near the upper belly or ribs. In transverse lie: kicks are felt more side-to-side rather than up-and-down. Movements may feel broader and stretched across the abdomen. ✅ 4. Causes of Transverse Lie Uterine shape anomalies (bicornuate uterus, fibroids). Placenta previa (placenta covering the cervix). Multiple pregnancy (twins or more). Excess amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios) or less amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios). Weak abdominal or uterine muscles in women with multiple pregnancies. ✅ 5. Is Transverse Lie Dangerous? If transverse lie persists till term, normal vaginal delivery is not possible. It increases the risk of cord prolapse when membranes rupture. Doctors usually recommend cesarean delivery if the baby doesn’t turn to head-down before labor. ✅ 6. When to Consult Doctor If you are in the third trimester and still feel baby kicks mostly on the sides. If you feel reduced baby movements in any position. For confirmation, your doctor will do an ultrasound scan. ✅ 7. Can the Baby Turn from Transverse Lie? Many babies turn naturally before 36 weeks. Some exercises like pelvic tilts and gentle maternal positioning techniques may help, but should only be done after doctor’s advice. After 37 weeks, if the baby doesn’t turn, doctors plan for delivery accordingly. #BabyKicks #TransverseLie #PregnancyCare #FetalMovements #PregnancyTips #BabyPosition #PrenatalCare

Pregnant & getting pubic pain? 😖 It may be Pelvic Girdle Pain/SPD. These safe exercises can help keep your pelvis stable and reduce pain.👇 1. Pelvic Tilts (lying down) – 10 reps x 2 ✅ Lie on back, knees bent, feet hip-width apart. ✅ Inhale to prepare, exhale as you gently flatten lower back into mat. ✅ Engage deep core + pelvic floor, keep movement slow and controlled. ❌ Mistakes: Overarching back, holding breath, rushing through reps. 2. Glute Bridges – 10 reps x 2 ✅ Lie down with knees bent, feet close to hips. Keep a block/cushion btw knees. ✅ Exhale, press through heels, lift hips, squeeze the block & glutes at top. ✅ Lower down with control, spine neutral. ❌ Mistakes: Pushing through toes, flaring ribs, over-arching lower back. 3. Clamshells – 10 reps per side x 2 ✅ Lie on side, knees bent, feet together. ✅ Keep hips stacked, exhale as you lift top knee, feet stay touching. ✅ Focus on glute activation, not hip rotation. ❌ Mistakes: Rolling backward, separating feet, moving too fast. 4. Gentle Adductor Squeeze (pillow between knees) – 10 reps x 2 ✅ Sit on a chair, feet flat on ground, place pillow/block between knees. ✅ Gently squeeze as you exhale, hold 2–3 sec, release slowly. ✅ Keep breath steady, pelvic floor engaged. ❌ Mistakes: Squeezing too hard, tensing shoulders/neck, breath-holding. #pregnancytips #pelvicgirdlepain #spd #prenatalfitness #pregnancyexercises #momtobe #pregnancypainrelief #pregnancysafeexercises #pregnancyhealth #thirdtrimester #secondtrimester (pelvic stability, pregnancy fitness, prenatal care, pain relief in pregnancy, prenatal exercises, prenatal yoga, birth educator, childbirth tips, pregnancy tips)
