Thor or Meetha Saata, a traditional Deep fried pastry in Ghee and dipped in a thick Sugar glaze is perfect sweet for Festival of Ganapati. With only few ingredients, an unbeatable authentic and traditional Thor ready to devour. Thor is deliciously crispy from outside and delightfully flaky and it melts in your mouth. Meetha Saata: 1 cup Aashirvaad Select flour 4 tbsp. Desi Ghee 3-4 tbsp. milk Desi ghee for deep fry For Sugar glaze and garnishing: 1 cup sugar 3-4 tbsp. water 1 tsp. milk 2-3 tbsp chopped Pistachio 2-3 tbsp. edible dried rose petals 2 tsp. cardamom seeds crushed In a bowl, take flour, add ghee and rub flour and ghee with your fingers. Combine well, start adding milk little by little and knead a stiff pliable dough. Cover it for 10-15 minutes. Divide dough into small golf size balls. Roll out small round shape puri, thicker than normal puri. Prick with the sharp knife or fork. Heat ghee on a medium heat, gently place in ghee and turn the heat on low. Very gently fry rounds till nice and brown, it will take about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the ghee and continue until all of the Saata have fried. Keep each Saata separated on a thali. Let them cool completely. Take a couple of baking sheet, greased little oil on it, by doing this THOR will not stick to on the tray. To make sugar glaze take a non-stick pan. Add sugar and water, heat sugar on a medium heat. Keep stirring and let the sugar dissolve completely. Let the syrup go very thick stirring constantly until it forms 2-1/2 strings chaasani. Add milk and switch off the heat. Now quickly drop thor one by one into syrup and coat completely and put them on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle cardamom seeds rose petals and pistachio nuts. Let the glaze set about an hour or so. Once the glaze is set, Saata will be white. Store in an airtight container. #prepeat

GANPATI BAPPA MORYA 🙏🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺🌺🙏🙏🙏 RAVA MANGO MODAK ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Ingredients :- Mango Pulp 1cup, Rava(semolina) 3 tablespoons, Sesame Seeds 2 tablespoons ,Condensed Milk 2 tablespoons, Khoya Kheer 50 gms, Dry Fruits(almond, raisin, aamsottyo)Sugar, Ghee . Process :- Take a kadai on the flame, pour the ghee ,add rava(semolina) and sesame seeds, fry it properly. Then add mango pulp,condensed milk and sugar, stir it continuously. When mixture is thickened then add khoya kheer and chopped aamsottyo, mix it well and switch off the flame. Cool it upto room temperature . Take some mixture, stuffe with dry fruits (almonds ,raisins ), give the mixture towards modak shape using hands . 🥣 DALBATI 🥣 bati: 2 cup wheat flour / atta ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp turmeric ¼ tsp oil water to knead for dal: 1cup tuvardal ½ cup moong dal ¼ cup urad dal ¼ cup chana dal soaked 30 minutes 3 cup water 3 tsp oil 1 tsp mustard 1 tsp cumin / jeera pinch hing / asafoetida 1 onion finely chopped 1 tsp ginger pest 1 tomato finely chopped ¼ tsp turmeric ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp salt 1 cup water 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped Instructions firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup wheat flour, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp turmeric ¼ oil mix well making sure the dough is moist. now add water as required and knead the dough. pinch a small ball sized dough and roll with small ball place the ball bati in each mould of appe pan cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes all sides. dal recipe: firstly in a pressure cooker dal pressure cook for 4 whistles adding 1 tsp ghee and 3 cup water. now in a large kadai heat 2 oil splutter 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp cumin and pinch hing add tej patta and lal mirch add 1 onion followed by 1 tsp garlic paste and 1 g saute well. further add 1 tomato and saute well. ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, and 1 tsp salt. saute on low flame. add in cooked dal, 1 cup water and mix. dal baati recipe simmer and boil for 5 minutes or till dal absorbs masala. dal baati recipe now add coriander leaves and mix well. #prepeat #prepeathaina #prepeatKaro
