Comment HYATT for our full analysis of everything changing This is one of the biggest devaluations we’ve seen in the hotel space... THE CHANGE: Hyatt is replacing their straightforward 3-tier award chart with a complex 5-tier system. OLD SYSTEM: ✅ Off Peak pricing ✅ Standard pricing ✅ Peak pricing NEW SYSTEM: ❌ Lowest pricing ❌ Low pricing ❌ Moderate pricing ❌ Upper pricing ❌ Top pricing WHY THIS MATTERS: The variance between lowest and top tier is EXTREME: • Some categories: 100% increase • Other categories: Up to 200% increase • Same hotel, same room, 2-3x the points REAL IMPACT: What this means for your redemptions: • Category 4 hotel used to be 15k points standard • Now could range from 12k (lowest) to 30k+ (top) • Peak travel dates = significantly more expensive • Flexibility = punished with higher costs THE SILVER LINING: Free Night Certificates and Suite Upgrade Awards are UNAFFECTED by these changes, making them relatively more valuable than ever. WHAT TO DO NOW: 1️⃣ Book future Hyatt stays at current rates ASAP 2️⃣ Prioritize using points over Free Night Certs when possible 3️⃣ Save your Free Night Certs for post-change bookings Hyatt has long been the gold standard for hotel loyalty programs. While they’re still better than most competitors, this change significantly reduces the value proposition that made them special. The predictability and transparency of their old award chart was a huge advantage. This new dynamic pricing model follows the industry trend of making redemptions less predictable and more expensive. How do you feel about this devaluation? Are you changing your Hyatt strategy? #Hyatt #WorldOfHyatt #HotelPoints #pointsandmiles

Super bummer news in the points world 😭 - World of Hyatt is rolling out award changes in May 2026, and it’s not good news. Several hotels are being moved up in category, that means the SAME room could cost thousands more points per night. Maybe even the harder news to swallow is that Hyatt is expanding from 3 pricing tiers (off-peak, standard, peak) to 5 tiers — with some top-end nights pricing up to 67% higher than the current peak rate. Ouch. But here’s the good news You can still book at today’s rates - and you don’t have to stay before the changes happen. You just have to BOOK before they go into effect. So if you’ve been eyeing a Hyatt stay for later this year or even next year, now is the time to lock it in and maximize your points. Hyatt is still one of the most valuable hotel programs (in my opinion), but strategy matters more than ever now. ✨Follow along for real-time travel points updates and tips to stretch your points and credit card rewards as far as possible

@hyatt just made its biggest award chart change in years… and it’s not great 🏨⚠️ Starting May 2026, World of Hyatt is moving from a 3-tier system to a new 5-tier award chart. What that means ⬇️ 📊 Still a fixed award chart… just more pricing tiers 📈 Many higher-category hotels will likely cost more points ⏳ Current pricing is still live — which means you can still lock in stays now 💳 I personally booked all my Hyatt stays for the next year Is Hyatt “dead”? Not necessarily. But outsized redemption value is getting harder to find. So yes, things are changing — but World of Hyatt is still one of the most powerful hotel programs out there if you know how to use it. 🔗 Full World of Hyatt breakdown video (including the new changes) is in our bio — and sign up for our daily newsletter for more travel updates like this. #worldofhyatt #hyattchanges #milesandpoints #hyatt #dailydrop

Welp. Hyatt chose chaos today. 😅 Here’s what’s actually happening — minus the panic: Hyatt is overhauling its award chart starting in May. The old 3 pricing tiers (Off-Peak / Standard / Peak) are gone and replaced with 5 levels: Lowest, Low, Moderate, Upper, and Top. Translation? More fluctuation. And at the top end… significantly more points (as high as 67% more). What that means: • High-end properties could climb as high as 75,000 points per night at “Top” pricing. • The range between the lowest and highest rates is getting much wider. • Some nights MAY price a little lower than today — but popular dates are very likely going up. • All-inclusive and Miraval properties are moving to this 5-tier system too. • Category 1-4 and 1-7 free night certificates are still tied to category — not demand — which suddenly makes them even more valuable. Is this the end of Hyatt sweet spots? No. Is it the end of booking Park Hyatts on Christmas week for the same price as a random Tuesday in February? Maybe. But here’s what I’d do before the changes go into effect: 1️⃣ Lock in any Hyatt stays you’re considering before May. Award bookings are refundable — you can always cancel later. 2️⃣ Consider opening a Hyatt credit card. This card comes with a category 1-4 free night certificate and those could stretch further than points under this new system. 3️⃣ Start being flexible with dates. The “Lowest” and “Low” tiers will still exist — you’ll just need to hunt smarter. The points world shifts. We pivot. We keep traveling. But in the meantime, if you need me I’ll be booking all the hotels I love one more time before I can’t afford them 😭. ⏰ And comment “Favorite Hotel” for details on the card I mentioned above! #PointsAndMiles #WorldOfHyatt #FamilyTravel #Hyatt

This reel is for the beginners, not my seasoned points & milers who already know and love @hyatt 😆 If you’re interested in visiting a destination and you need to find out how many points you’ll need, this is an easy way to figure it out. I love the points calendar because you’re able to find out how many points you’ll need to accrue before booking your stay. World of Hyatt primarily uses a fixed, category-based award chart with off-peak, standard, and peak points rate/pricing, rather than pure dynamic pricing - this means the points per night/pricing is predictable. #hyatt #hotel #resort #pointsandmiles

Hyatt just made some big changes. And like most things in this game… there are pros and there are concerns. Let’s start with the win. They’re making it much easier to transfer points between members. No more filling out forms and waiting around. That’s a huge development for families, couples, and anyone pooling points for a big redemption. This alone is going to make strategy a lot smoother. Now here’s what you need to pay attention to. Many of the luxury properties are increasing in cost — some by 30% to 67%. That’s not small. That’s tens of thousands of points difference on a single stay. The good news? You have about two months before the new pricing fully kicks in. And remember — you can book stays up to 12 months in advance. That means you should already be looking at 2026 trips right now. The earlier you book, the better your chances of finding base room availability. Waiting usually means fewer standard rooms left for points, especially at popular properties. This is the moment to plan — not panic. If you want to go deeper on how to navigate this and protect your points, comment HYATT below and I’ll get you into my upcoming Hotel Hyatt Masterclass.2 day deep dive

Hyatt just announced a huge decimation of their award chart (and it’s pretty terrible). 🚽 🪠 Some properties are jumping from 35k-45k/n to a whopping 75k points per night. 😱 If you’ve been saving Chase or Hyatt points for a specific redemption, it’s worth checking the new categories and booking ASAP! This change to more dynamic pricing across hotel programs isn’t new (but it still hurts coming from Hyatt) This is exactly why I always say “don’t put all your points in one basket” My strategy is: ✈️ Focus on earning Transferable points (Chase, Capital One, Amex) 🏨 And take advantage of elevated, limited-time sign up bonuses on airline and hotel cards as they show up 🚨 Right now, we’re seeing increased offers on all the Hilton cards and all but one include Points PLUS a Free Night Award 👏🏼🔥 🚀 That combination (big bonus plus a free night) is huge if you have a trip in mind. ‼️This is in addition to the current FIVE 50k Free Nights from the Chase Marriott Boundless card right now! 👉🏼Comment HILTON for a link to Hilton’s hot, new offers! Ya’ll that FREE NIGHT AWARD is huge!! 🚨 ❓ What Hyatts are you booking before May and are you changing your strategy at all? #pointsandmiles #familytravel #awardtravel #travelstrategy #creditcardpoints

Well… Hyatt just changed the game. Not in a good way. Top-tier rooms that were 45,000 pointscan now run 75,000. That’s a massive jump! Yes — Hilton and Marriott often price higher than 75k. But here’s the difference: They both run frequent transfer bonuses with Chase and American Express. 30–70% bonuses when you move points. Hyatt has never done that. So unless that changes, they’ve effectively moved themselves much closer to parity with the others. And I hate saying that because I just posted about how strong Hyatt’s program is. Still good? Yes. As unbeatable as before? Not so much. We’ll be watching to see if transfer bonuses show up. 👀 #hyatt #points #pointsandmiles
