Primally Pure turns 9 this month, and I can’t believe it’s been nearly a decade since I officially started selling skincare products at the Primal Pastures farm stand. I didn’t start Primally Pure with investors, capital or the goal of turning it into a big brand. It began as a passion project, born out of my desire to create products that improved skin health without compromising whole body health. Deodorant was the first product I created, followed by several others (Cleansing Oil, Everything Spray, Body Butter and Lip Balm to name a few). Once I discovered how effective natural ingredients could be, I quickly became obsessed with replacing my conventional skincare and personal care products with clean + non-toxic alternatives. And after experiencing a big shift in the look, feel and function of my skin, I knew I couldn’t keep these products to myself and began to share them with friends and family. The positive feedback I received gave me the motivation and confidence to get my clean + effective line of skincare products into more people’s hands. Nine years later, my team and I are still motivated and fueled by a desire to change lives through pure products and clean living education. I want to thank you for trusting your skin health to Primally Pure. The responsibility of maintaining product integrity as well as creating helpful content that’s foundational to skin health and overall health is something that we will always hold with the utmost importance.
