If you can’t study for long hours, this is your sign to fix it right now. This routine helped me go from burnout to 10-hour study days — and actually remember what I studied. 📈📖 1. Plan Smart, Not Just Long: •Break your syllabus into manageable chunks (chapters, concepts, or topics). •Use a weekly goal system — decide what must be done by the end of the week, not just what you’ll do today. •Use the “90–20–90” method: Study 90 minutes → Take 20-min break → Study another 90 minutes. Works better than endless 6-hour stretches. 2. Use Active Recall + Spaced Repetition: •Don’t reread passively. Instead, test yourself with flashcards, quizzes, or teaching aloud. •Revise using the 1–3–7 rule: Review after 1 day, 3 days, and 7 days. 3. Create a Deep-Work Environment: •Phone on airplane mode or in another room. •Use background music or brown noise (Spotify/YouTube: deep focus playlist). •Keep only what you need on your desk — clean space = clear mind. -go to a near by cafe or library to study in a different envir 4. Prioritise Energy Management: •Long hours are only effective when your mind is fresh. •Eat small, energy-sustaining meals (nuts, fruit, oats, eggs). •Stay hydrated — dehydration kills focus. 5. Track and Reward Progress: •Use a planner or Notion tracker. •Give yourself micro-rewards after big chunks (e.g., skincare break, scroll for 10 min, snack). •Weekly: reflect on what topics you mastered vs. need to review. 6. MOST IMPORTANT- CHOOSE A ROUTINE: You need to get atleast 6-8 hours of sleep in order to boost your performance throughout the day. Decide whether you are a morning routine kid or a night routine kid. Plan your day accordingly and go acc to realistic tasks! Godspeed, remember the future is in your hands and don’t let go of opportunities bec of ‘what if’ ##studygram #exams #college #university #studytips #studystudystudy #focus #lockin #score #fyp #medical #dental #medschool #dentalschool #studies #howtostudy #toppers ##academicmotivation #studywithme #studyvlog #vlog #studytechnique #scribblemethod #scribbletechnique #studytips #proff [ how to study for long sessions, Proff season, study grind, how to study, study tips ]

Here are the mistakes that you avoid to save your marks: 📌 Panicking during stations: Many students forget simple points just because of panicking because of bells or fear of examiner...so try to stay calm as much as possible..if you have prepared well ..you are gonna ace it. 📌 Superficial study of CFRC topics: Just don't blindly cram CFRC logbook you must know extra points (normal and pathological findings, pulse or respiratory rate normal and abnormal ranges etc.) 📌Cramming biochem procedures: Don't only memorise principle and steps of procedure, must learn the precautions, indications, outcomes etc. 📌Not practicing physiology practicals Reading practical from manual is not enough..you must know the protocols and how to perform it and abnormal and normal response. 📌Intro(of yours and also tell about procedure you are gonna perform) consent, exposure and thankyou at end of procedure Don't forget these points...they will get you free marks. 📌 Ignoring station instructions Don't rush through the statement, understand first what the station demands from you then start answering to the examiner 📌 Thinking about previous stations If one station goes bad, students keep thinking about that and lose marks in following stations too...so stay calm and give your best in each station. Here’s how you should best utilise your proff break: 1. Revision Timetable 🗓️ To kickstart your study strategy, it’s essential to create a structured timetable. Research highlights the significance of learning techniques such as the Pomodoro method, which involves short study blocks with frequent breaks, making it highly effective. Diversify your day by intermixing different subject areas, and establish clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals to facilitate tracking your progress as the exam date approaches. 2. Spaces and places 📚 Select a study environment that complements your learning style. For many, a quiet, distraction-free place like a library or a cozy café is ideal. Remember, what works best for you is the key. Moreover, use spaced repetition techniques such as Anki to help in solidifying your concepts. Using question-based apps such as @med_angle can also help in your long-term learning! 3. Rest, Eat, and Exercise 🧘‍♂️ In addition to taking regular breaks during your study sessions, consider the bigger picture. Adequate rest, guilt-free leisure time, a balanced diet, and physical activity play pivotal roles. These factors not only support physical health but also enhance cognitive performance, reduce stress, and boost confidence. 4. Easiest first ✅ Begin with the less challenging tasks to bolster your confidence and establish an exam-oriented rhythm. 5. If Stuck, Move On 🍀 If you find yourself struggling with a particular subject, don’t dwell on it. Sometimes, a solution may become clear later. Shift your focus to a different area of study to regain confidence and gain a fresh perspective on the challenging subject. PS: This is my opinion based on research and 2 years of proff experience. Feel free to try out new things that might work for you, and good luck! #medstudent #medical #proff
