Everyone say hello to Abbey, the newest addition to the Creator’s Friend family 👋✨ It’s always fun seeing how differently everyone uses their planners, so we thought the best way to get to know her was simply to hand her a page and see what happened. As it turns out, Abbey approaches a daily layout the same way many of us approach life… with several thoughts happening at once, a few important tasks that definitely need doing, and a healthy appreciation for colour, stars and the occasional motivational pep talk written to yourself 🌈⭐ The nice thing about these pages is that they give just enough structure to gently organise the day, while still leaving plenty of room for creativity, doodles and whatever else your brain decides to do in the margins. Because sometimes a planner isn’t about having everything perfectly under control. Before filming this I almost didn’t start. The fear of messing it up was very real 😅 I think a lot of us get stuck there sometimes. That moment where you want to begin but worry you’ll do it wrong. But that’s the idea behind Fastbrain. There isn’t a perfect way to use it. The system is intentionally simple so it works with your brain, not against it 🧠 Today’s earthy trifold felt calm and grounding 🌿 It ended up holding exactly what I needed, a few messy notes, scattered ideas, and a little snake charm because personalising things always makes it feel more mine 🐍✨ Some days the goal isn’t perfection. Your brain feels too full because you don’t have a place to put all the thoughts. That’s what my Creative Planner solved. This planner travels with me everywhere. Not because it’s cute (it’s not). Not because it’s organized (definitely not). But because ideas don’t wait for convenient moments. Business thought at 9pm? Write it here. Family reminder while on the go? Write it here. Random idea that might be useful someday? Write it here. No filtering. No organizing in the moment. Just CAPTURE. Then, toward the end of the week, I process. I open this messy Creative Planner and move each note to its proper home: Project Planner (for work) Daily Planner (for this week’s execution) Strategic Planner (for long-term goals) Once it’s transferred? Red pen strike-through. Not because it’s done. Because it has a HOME now. The exception: Some thoughts stay unmarked. Because sometimes that random idea becomes useful much later. And I want to be able to find it when I need it. This is how nothing gets lost, even when life feels chaotic. Ideas get captured immediately (before they disappear). Then processed weekly (so they don’t stay buried). Then moved to the right place (so I can actually use them). My brain gets to think freely because I know I have a system that catches everything. Function over pretty, always. Save this if your brain feels too full and you need a capture system.
