ALLet’s face it — we didn’t get the Space Jockey we were expecting in Prometheus (2012)… but in exchange, we were introduced to the Engineers.
And honestly, when you look at them as a concept separate from the original Space Jockey, they become something equally fascinating. Their design, physiology, technology, and even their behavior feel both threatening and deeply intriguing — an undeniable enigma.
I like to think this race isn’t the same as the original Space Jockey, but rather a more recent civilization influenced by its biomechanical legacy: the suits, the ships, and the ancient technology they inherited or rediscovered.
