Are you tired of struggling with getting your reverb to blend with your vocal? Adding reverb to your vocals no longer needs to be a hassle!
Reverb Is important because:
1) It adds a sense of space by placing your "dry" recording in a hall, room, chamber or other real life spaces.
2) It adds depth to your sound.
3) It can add width in the stereo field (if a stereo reverb is applied)
4) Reverb on a vocal can add "character" to the vocal to improve the emotional impact of your song.
If you’re recording vocals in a vocal booth with acoustic treatment, your vocal can sound lifeless without reverb.
The problem with adding reverb (without using this technique) is your vocal may be pushed back in the mix, which generally, you don't want. Your vocal is 1 of the most important elements of your song so you want it to remain upfront and heard.
