Rehab and recovery... Sort of πŸ˜… Putting on the soft belt - sore Band pull-downs - sore Log - fine??? Constant dull ache all yesterday in the left tricep, very tight and sore under full extension, couldn't really load it much and random movements would hurt a bit. Feeling more normal today, just a bit tight and less sore, so decided to head back to the gym. One day of rest is plenty right??? Kicked off with some safety bar squats, working up to 160kg for 3x3. Pulling against the elastic straps was sore on the left tricep. I decided to try some light band work to see if that helped with the tightness. As you can see from my facial expressions it was not pleasant. Next (because I'm not right in the head), I wondered if I could press the mini log (22kg) or if that would be too much. That was grand, so I worked up in 10kg increments to 42kg. Then I brought out the bigger log (45kg) and cautiously attempted to clean and press it. That was also fine. πŸ€” A little tight at lockout getting my head through, but not too bad. One thing led to another and I worked up to 85kg for 3 reps. Still sore in the tricep (feels like the muscle belly of the long head) under some movement patterns and certain loaded positions, yet pressing is fine.... I have no idea. I'm taking it as a positive sign anyway. Hopefully all back to normal by next week.
