WOLinear Search is the simplest way of searching a data set. It's a sequential search that starts from one end, moves forward, checks each element along the way and stops when the desired element is found.
Its simplicity and no prior sorting requirements make it very convenient to use. But the time complexity of O(N) in the case where the desired element is last, makes Linear Search too slow for large datasets.
