Watch my YouTube for the full detailed video link in bio Python Bite…. am completely safe. The snake was a non-venomous python, and I was able to identify it. I have received a tetanus shot as a precaution. Please remember: if you are bitten by a snake, try to identify the snake or take a photo or video if it is safe to do so. This can help medical professionals provide the right treatment.

I am a fool for snakes and I’m completely fine with it! Snakes are often called icky, slimy, scary, and dangerous. People grow up learning to fear them before they ever learn what they actually are. But snakes aren’t monsters. They’re quiet, efficient, and incredibly important to the ecosystems they live in. They control rodent populations, keep ecological balance intact, and prefer avoiding humans altogether. Most snake bites happen out of fear, not aggression. What I love about snakes is just their design, patience, and purpose. So yes, you can call me a fool. Because the snakes also need our love and understanding!

Snake Catcher (also known as a reptile relocator or snake wrangler) is a specialized professional trained to identify, capture, and safely relocate snakes from human-occupied areas back into their natural habitats. They serve as the vital bridge between public safety and wildlife conservation, ensuring that neither the person nor the animal is harmed during an encounter. ### Key Responsibilities Emergency Response: Quickly attending to calls from homeowners, businesses, or public spaces where a snake has been spotted. Species Identification: Instantly identifying whether a snake is venomous (like a Cobra or Rattlesnake) or non-venomous (like a Python or Garter snake) to determine the level of risk. Safe Capture: Using specialized tools—such as hooks, tongs, and capture bags—to secure the snake without causing it physical stress or injury. Relocation: Transporting the snake to a suitable, legally approved environment far enough from human dwellings to prevent it from returning. Public Education: Advising clients on how to "snake-proof" their property by removing debris, sealing cracks, or managing rodent populations. . . . . . #trending #followformore #explorepage

Brown snake Defensive behaviour explained! This is one of the best video's around showing the two extremes of brown snake behaviour within a 30 second video. For the first half of the video I am moving around and the snake is responding to my movements as well as the snake bag moving. As soon as I stop moving the snake INSTANTLY changes its behaviour and becomes calm and moves off into the bush straight past my legs. Snakes are NOT aggressive! Snakes will NOT chase you! Snakes will NOT try and eat or attack your kids! We want to show you this behaviour so that you never have to see it yourself. This is what true eastern brown defensive behaviour looks like. However, they will only do this behaviour if they feel threatened or provoked. If you respect snakes, they will respect you. Stand still or move away from the snake and you won't have a problem. If you have a snake in your home or yard and want it relocated, then call a professional snake catcher. There have been a lot of uneducated people killing snakes lately which is really unfortunate. It is time for DETSI (Department of environment, tourism, science and Innovation) to crack down on this illegal behaviour. Enough of the grey areas, enough of the excuses, and enough of the department targetting wildlife educators and influences just because they have a platform... When was the last time anyone saw a Government or council paid TV, radio or social media ad bringing awareness around snakes? Maybe if DETSI spent more time and resources on educating the public around snakes, we wouldnt have this problem of shovel weilding people within our community. I wonder what its going to take for some change to happen...

The post by @ni_dendo shares a 10-second video of a man in rural India casually handling a large python, building to a shocking moment where the snake strikes his face, prompting the caption's expression of disbelief and garnering over 460,000 views in hours. Viewer reactions mix horror and humour, with replies questioning authenticity—some label it AI-generated due to unnatural movements and a dubious "Weoographic.com" watermark—while others debate the man's survival, as pythons deliver non-venomous but painful bites. This viral clip underscores risks of untrained wildlife interaction, echoing documented cases like a 2024 vine snake misidentification incident, where overconfidence led to injury, emphasising the need for professional handling per herpetology guidelines.
