That small blue module has the AHT10 temperature and humidity sensor, with I2C interface. To control the sensor and display the data I use the RoboUNO+ development board (from @robo.com.cy) and one OLED display (128x64). To wire the sensor I used the Qwiic connector that the RoboUNO+ board has for the I2C port of the #microcontroller ATmega328P. If you like this content, please follow and share. I’m modified control code to be focused on q-axis-current of bldc motor control for ‘Proprioceptive Actuator’. ‘Proprioceptive Actuator’ means that the actuator sensing torque without additional force sensors. This will provide me much compact, durable actuators. In the BLDC motor, q-axis-current is proportional to torque of motor. So I can calculate torque by directly measuring q-axis-current of motor. Then the actuator can be much more compliant to external force by controlling torque of motors. BITS Pilani students built a prototype cubesat in 72 hours. They built this cubesat for the Hardware Hackathon 2.0 in Bengaluru. The team designed the core hardware from scratch with a custom control board, including the magnetorquer which controls the satellite’s orientation in space and the power electronics needed to drive it. They also designed the directional patch antenna which they simulated and tuned in CST. Everything was then mounted on a modular frame designed specifically to hold the boards in place. The PCBs were manufactured by Lion Circuits in less than 24 hours, and the frame itself was 3D printed. This team consisted of Yog Panjarale, Vatsal Goyal, Sai Sreekar, and Shreyas, and they won second place at the hackathon.

I'm writing a new library for this Arduino Multifunction Shields so I can also write some text on digits with no effort. I've lot of experience with 7-segment displays (see my MAX7219 library for PIC microcontrollers for example, or my MetroMik project) so I ported some of my code to an existing Arduino Library (it's stil a WIP). In this reel I've connected a DS1820 temperature sensor for showing temperature on display. Another difference you can see with the original library is that here we've the decimal point. Since this shield can be found for a couple of bucks, and has also buttons, a buzzer, buttons and LEDs on board, looks perfect for doing simple things like a temperature control.
