I wasn’t going to share this but it’s what we had for dinner lol. Anyways here is the recipe! Chicken • 1 lb chicken thighs, thinly sliced • 1/2 cup soy sauce • 1 tsp sesame oil • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp pepper • Oil or cooking spray Add chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and pepper to a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes while you heat a skillet with oil or cooking spray. Add chicken in a single layer and cook over medium about 3 minutes until dark and caramelized. Flip and cook another 2 minutes until cooked through. Remove from pan. Sauce • Leftover marinade • 1/4 cup brown sugar • 1 tbs cornstarch • 1/4 cup water Add leftover marinade to the skillet with brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Turn heat to high and bring to a bubble. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth, then stir into the sauce. Reduce heat to low and let thicken about 30 seconds. Add chicken back in and toss to coat. These were so easy and so good!! A perfect weeknight dinner the whole family enjoyed. Here is the recipe. Maple Chicken Ingredients • 1 lb chicken, thinly sliced • 3 eggs • 1/2 cup flour • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt • 1/4 tsp pepper • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika • Avocado oil, for cooking • 1/2 cup butter • 1/4 cup maple syrup • Sea salt, to finish Instructions: Whisk the eggs in a bowl and in a separate bowl mix the flour, crushed corn flakes, and seasonings. Dip each piece of chicken into the eggs, then coat in the crumb mixture. Heat a thin layer of avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken on both sides until golden and crispy, then remove and set aside. In the same skillet, add the butter and maple syrup and cook on low until melted and bubbling. Remove from heat, dip each piece of chicken into the sauce, place on a baking sheet, and broil for about 1 minute or until caramelized. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt. Rice Ingredients • 1/4 cup butter • 1/4 cup orzo • 2 cups rice • 3 1/4 cups chicken broth Instructions: In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat and add the orzo, cooking until golden. Stir in the rice and chicken broth, bring to a simmer, then cover and reduce to low. This is barely cooking but tastes delicious and it’s so versatile. Using a really good quality tomato paste is what will transform this sauce and you all know how much I love my Turkish one 😍 I pair it with spaghetti and serve it with veggies, salad, or even roast chicken my daughter’s favorite! 🍗💯 Here’s the recipe:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 heaped tbsp Turkish tomato paste (about 75g)
1 tsp garlic purée
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup water Cook the sauce until the oil rises to the top

Dumb Dinners: Creamy Crunch Taco Bake Here’s exactly how to make it: Creamy Crunch Taco Bake Serves about 6 Ingredients • 1 can crescent roll dough sheet • 1 lb ground beef • 1 taco seasoning packet + water listed on packet • ½–1 cup refried beans • ¾ cup chunky salsa • ½ cup sour cream • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend or cheddar • 1 handful thick tortilla chips, crushed Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 11x7 or 9x13 baking dish. Press crescent dough into the bottom of the dish. Bake 5–6 minutes until slightly puffed. Remove from oven. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the crust. Brown ground beef in a skillet until no pink remains. Drain grease. Add taco seasoning and water from the packet. Simmer until thick, not watery. Let meat cool 2–3 minutes, then spoon over refried beans. Add salsa and sour cream directly into the baking dish and gently stir into the beef layer without disturbing the crust. VIRAL HOT HONEY TACO BEEF BOWLS This is my take on the viral hot honey taco beef bowl, with sweet potato & cottage cheese! Gets a 10/10 from us. Follow @kimberlys_journeyy for more recipes like this ⤵️ For two: For the beef - 300g lean beef mince - half packet taco seasoning For the potatoes - 400g sweet potatoes - tsp aromat, smoked paprika & garlic granules For the tomato salsa - half diced red onion - handful diced tomatoes - handful fresh parsley - pinch salt - juice of half a lemon To serve: - half a mashed avocado - 20g hot honey - 2tbsp fat free cottage cheese Start off by cooking your potatoes, cut them into small cubes, add all the seasonings and some spray oil and cook in the airfryer for 20-25 minutes until they are nice and crispy. Add beef to a pan, use a spatula to break up any larger pieces. Then add the seasonings & a splash of water. Then just leave this to simmer for 5-10 mins. Mix together the tomato salsa ingredients. Serve in bowls with the mashed avocado and cottage cheese on top.

One-pan Caramelised Beef Ramen Noodles | Serves 2 2 packets instant noodles or ramen (discard seasoning packet) 1 tsp oil + 2 tsp sesame oil (or more oil) 2 garlic cloves minced, 1/2 onion sliced, 200 g/7 oz beef mince (ground beef) 1 1/4 cups (315 ml) water, big handful bean sprouts Sauce - MIX: 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp Oyster sauce (or Hoisin), 2 tsp Hoisin sauce (or more Oyster sauce), 1 tbsp Mirin, Chinese cooking wine or dry sherry * Garnishes (optional): Finely sliced green onion / shallots, Sesame seeds   1. Heat oils in a medium skillet over high heat. Add onion and garlic, cook for 1 1/2 min. 2. Add beef, cook until it changes from pink to light brown. Add Sauce, cook 2 to 3 min until well caramelised (see video). 3. Clear space for the noodles. Add water, place noodles in water. Leave 45 sec then turn. Leave 30 sec, untangle noodles, then toss through the beef. 5. Add beansprouts, toss 1 min until sauce reduces to coat the noodles and the noodles are cooked (2 to 3 min), add extra water if needed. 6. These are my Street-style Soy Noodles. STEAK, CARAMELISED ONION & SPICY MAYO SANDWICH Perfect weekend dinner & all within my calories for the day at 623 for my sandwich Steaks: - 2 steaks of choice (I use fillet) - Salt and pepper For the bread: - 2 sainsburys half ciabatta bread - Handful rocket - 2 sliced onions - 2 slices spicy cheese - 10g Parmesan Recipe for spicy mayo: - 30g light mayo - 10g sriracha - tsp wholegrain mustard - tsp cajun seasoning Fry the onions until softened / caramelised. Whilst that cooks, cook your steak. We like our steak medium rare, so i cook them for 3 mins each side. Then leave to rest. Once done, slice the baguettes add some of the spicy mayo, top with the onions, lay on the cheese & then bake in the oven for 5-6 mins until the cheese has melted. Then add the steak on top, along with rocket and Parmesan. We had ours with air fryer chips. #steaksandwich #steakciabatta #steak #quickdinners #easyrecipes

Smashing a cheesy tortilla over seasoned beef gives you a taco that’s super crispy outside, with seared, juicy meat. Perfect for #TacoTuesday, especially when you load them up with your favorite toppings! YOU’LL NEED -1 lb ground beef (I use 90% lean) -1 T chili powder -1 tsp each cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt -½ tsp dried oregano -⅛ tsp cayenne (optional) -1 c shredded Mexican cheese -6 small flour tortillas (or corn; note corn falls apart more easily) -Oil for cooking -Taco toppings Combine the spices and divide the beef into 6 balls.
