RAExhibitions test your patience, and teach you plenty…. Here is a throwback to a day of grit, grace, and some great learning!
To take part in an exhibition is no joke!
Among 35 stalls, it was hard to stand out. Not only did I meet customers, I also met other fellow stall owners, who were also eager to sell their products. It helped me understand my own work better.
In the exhibition, selling readymade blouses wasn’t just about putting them on display — it meant answering sizing doubts, helping customers imagine pairings, and showing how mix-and-match can elevate a look.
I wore a grey tussar saree with a mustard zari border. The saree had hand painted pink flowers, and so, I paired it with a bright pink blouse — a small way to show how styling can be fun and personal.
It was a long day, and a tiring one. But I walked away with so much insight into how people dress, what they look for, and how style is truly unique to each.

RAWe had the most amazing photoshoot recently, and here’s a little glimpse of the magic.
The photographer @nikithaa_kumaran had an absolute field day — capturing frames in every corner of my parents gorgeous home, finding beauty in all the nooks and corners!
The models @uth.sanka and @nithyashreesadasivan readily agreed when I approached them, and both of them being dancers, were spontaneous and natural. I can’t thank them enough for putting in their best to make the photoshoot a truly memorable experience.
It felt like a grown-up version of playing dress-up — beautiful blouses, gorgeous drapes, and so much joy in styling each look.
With a home full of character, a photographer who couldn’t stop clicking, and models who brought their best — this shoot was pure joy!
