Natural light can be a powerful creative tool. By carefully directing sunlight onto reflective surfaces, artists can shape moving patterns, depth, and motion without using screens or digital effects. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most stunning visuals come from understanding light itself ✨🔆 Via: Publicly available footage We do not own the rights to this content. Utilizing a camera tracker and a simple cone shape, we will build a setup that gives flexibility and artistic freedom when imitating a volumetric light effect in comp. One of the key elements when building a light beam setup is parameter wiring. From tutorial you will learn how to link parameters to keep a procedural workflow from the beginning to the end. How I created this animation in c4d 👇: 1️⃣ Create a Cloner object and create planes with your texture applied. Put them into the Cloner and choose the ‘Object’ mode. 2️⃣ The target ‘Object’ can be any spline (I used circles in my case). 3️⃣ Animate the rotation of your spline using keyframes. Make sure the first and last frames have the same keyframes for a perfect loop! 🔁 4️⃣ The last step is the Plain Effector. Add a couple of them, and in the ‘Parameter’ settings, choose Scale 2.5. 5️⃣ Add a Spherical Field to affect only a certain volume, not the whole Cloner object. Adjust the position and scale of the Plain Effectors. That’s it! Hope this was useful. 📂 If you want the project file for your personal needs, drop “project file” in the comments and I’ll send it to you for free! #tutorial #cinema4d #uiux #bts #motiiongraphics #graphicdesign

How to 'motion design' like a genius (vol.1) 1. Add shadows to your surrounding objects. This is a great way to add natural lighting to your design. Pre-compose all your surrounding object layers, then copy paste the composition. Then, add CC Radial Fast Blur and Fill to create natural shadows. By parenting this shadow layer to your main object, the shadows will follow the movement automatically. 2. Add echoes to your main object. Echoes are the best ways to exaggerate an object’s movement. All you have to do is Go to Effects → Echo, then adjust the amount and transparency of the echoes. 3. Add shapes popping out on every bounce. Regular collisions look boring. So let’s create some simple shapes and make them pop out in the back. The more dynamic, the more stylish it gets. Follow for more tips, and God bless you.

Lighting is the only thing standing between a “render” and a “cinematic masterpiece.” But nobody has time to spend all day hunting for stencils. I built the STYLARX Gobo Generator to solve this. It’s simple: Type a prompt, get a custom high-fidelity light pattern in seconds. Victorian windows, forest canopies, industrial grates—whatever the scene needs, it’s there. I’m opening 1,000 Founder spots for lifetime access. One setup fee, and you own every tool I build for life. The seats are filling up fast.
