MAToday, we remember the fall of Saigon, a moment that marked both profound loss and the beginning of new journeys for so many families, including my own.
As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, I carry with me a deep sense of gratitude. Without the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans, my parents and I would not be here today, living the American dream.
On this day, we honor not only history, but the heroes who shaped it. To our veterans: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the lasting impact you’ve made on generations like mine.
