After stepping into commercial and corporate projects over the last few years, I decided to pick up the #SONYFX3 and GM 24-70MM to reground myself on why I started all of this in the first place. I wanted to prove you don’t need a big Hollywood budget to create your story.
This was shot back in May of last year but because of my perfectionism, this never got to see the light of day. Shout out @isiah.abad for being able to act in this project with little to no experience. First project of many that are in the archives and slowly but surely can’t wait to share more of my writings and work.

DEIt was so hard to regulate my nervous system for about the first 6 months of postpartum. One moment I was feeling upbeat and in an instant I would drop into a low lull of sadness. My emotions felt like they were all over the place and my anxiety was at an all time high.
Over these past few months, I’ve developed an easy 3-step ritual that I can do wherever I am, whether I have 2 minutes or 20 minutes and it helps me to decompress, feel calm + less stressed:
1. Find a soft space to sit or lay down ✨
2. Spray my grounding spray by @softspaces in the air
3. Take a few deep breaths ✨
This is the way I reset, reground, relax and find a little rest during my hectic day or just before I go to bed at night. I’ve learned that as Mamas, we all deserve to have time for ourselves and not feel guilty about it. You can try this or develop your own simple practice that works best for you. Make the time to RESET, REGROUND, RELAX + REST so you can show up as the best version of yourself each day.
