Super honored to have been a part of the beta testing of this fun Kickstarter camera.
Takes you back to the old disposable days where you have to wind after each photo.
What I think is fun about this camera is on the app they have a bunch of presets. You choose three and “load your film” the. You are allowed 36 shots being able to switch between those three presets.
Then you upload your roll to your phone and switch to what ever preset you want to try next.
Just to show what they look like none of these shots from the camera have been edited it’s just the preset.
They really give it a fun unique take on the disposable camera style!

Absolutely loved my first day shooting with it. This is a screen free digital camera that has a fantastic app which allows you to add different film stock simulations to the camera to create your own vibe. All the images in this reel were shot with the built in sunny warm profile.

CHHad the fun opportunity to try out and test @rewindpix_camera — I’ve given myself lots of time to really play with its features and quality, even the app, and I have so many great things to say about it 📸
First of all, the camera itself is so stinkin’ adorable, and so clean in design. It’s not just aesthetic, but it’s functional, sturdy and well built down to its notches and buttons. Lightweight but doesn’t feel like it’ll fling from your hand and break if it hits a table. The winder is a fun and unique touch to the retro digital camera trend. You have to wind it and press the shutter in order to turn on the camera — this took me some adjusting but it’s a very easy action now! Because of the sturdy plastic of the winder, I can trust it won’t turn on by accident which is what I’ve had problems with in other digi cams. The built in flash is nice and strong, the lens is a 40mm thread so you can add your own filters and protection, and even has a hotshoe!
It has two modes: Manual (regular numbered shooting) and Film mode (36 shots for a ‘film’ which I’ll get into!). The film mode is what makes this so unique, forcing you to shoot 36 photos to fill up a ‘roll’ which you can then ‘unload’, view and download on the RewindPix app which is synced through the camera’s built in WiFi connection.
Through the WiFi/the app, you can choose 3 ‘film’ filters to program into your camera to 3 relative switch dials. The app provides SO many different well made filters (with sample images in the directory) that render the images really well! You can tell the devs really took care in creating the colors and tones. My fave filters are the Portra 400, Fuji 200, and a classic B&W low contrast — you can switch ‘films’ each time you unload an old roll and reload a new roll, just like real film. With these small cams I tend to have to edit on computer to denoise and color grade, but the photos SOOC filtered are honestly so impressive, I haven’t felt the need to do anything. When accessing the cam via USB, you can grab the unfiltered files of these images as well, which is yet another convenient feature for those of us who enjoy manually editing!
