OPENING THIS FRIDAY | Join us this Friday, November 7, for the opening of Ruby Sky Stiler: "Long Pose", the artist’s first solo exhibition with the Gallery, followed by a reception from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Featuring new paintings and a large-scale bas-relief mural that encircles the exhibition space. Together, these works expand Stiler’s exploration of art historical archetypes, as she recasts traditions of figuration and the nude through a contemporary lens. YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS PEOPLE - JIMINIE HA @jiminie Jiminie Ha is a creative director based in Paris and New York City. Formerly the Senior Director of Graphic Design and Brand at the Guggenheim Museum, she oversaw the global rebrand of the Guggenheim and exhibition identities. She is the founder of the creative agency, With Projects, Inc., and co-founder of the Wolfhouse, a restored Philip Johnson home in upstate New York that supports art and culture. She currently teaches at Yale School of Art and recently opened her practice in Paris. She is the recipient of the Alice Kimball English Traveling Fellowship (2007) and the Rome Prize (2012), granted by the American Academy in Rome for her body of work. She holds a BA from Brown and an MFA from Yale School of Art, and an executive degree from Columbia Business School’s Museum Leadership Program (2023). Founded in 2008, With Projects, Inc. @withprojects began as an interdisciplinary, installation–focused arts space based in New York City’s Chinatown, inviting artists, designers and musicians to produce new work under tight spatial constraints. Occupying the interstices of fine arts practices, exhibitions would range from one–time happenings to week-long events. Today With Projects, Inc. has become an umbrella entity for various art projects in New York City and abroad, including White Zinfandel, a biannual arts and culture magazine. Contributors to White Zinfandel included a range of emerging and established voices in the creative and fine arts world that include Chris Burden, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Josh Kline, Maia Ruth Lee, Marina Abramovic, Ruby Sky Stiler, Lucy Kim, Simon Castets, Cyril Duval, Davide Balula, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Hood by Air, Julia Trotta and many more.
